Scammers

Scammers! My mom thought she was paying $11 for a sample and they charged $280. They sent 2 more bottles and she thought it was an accident then charged her $280 again. Now she's out $560 and they won't do anything about. Do not trust this company, they're scum.

Scam - don't get free sample! You're charged $$$ for the full product

I ordered the free sample of Ellure anti aging cream and eye serum. These separate samples come with individual shipping fees of $4.95 and $6.99 respectively. Buried in the terms and conditions is AUTHORIZATION TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD $142.15 and $139.01after your 14 day "free trial".

As soon as you order the samples a pending authorization of $142.15 and $139.01 is put onto your credit card from two different companies; careshopstop and ordernow4you. If you're not observant of your credit card charges you'll accept the free samples and you'll unknowingly be charged those large amounts at the 14 day mark and have NO RECOURSE because the company has covered themselves in the terms and conditions. The credit card company can't do much for you at that point.

I managed to save myself because I have an automatic email alert on all credit card charges (I recommend you do this to protect yourself). I called my credit card dispute department. They said this free sample scam is being run on many products. Companies rely on you not reading the T's&C's. My credit card dispute department called the company and on a 3-way call we disputed the charge. They cancelled the pending amount and I cancelled the free sample order as I want nothing to do with this company. I'm one of the lucky ones. So many people are scammed daily. The banks have complained to the credit card companies who have required these scammers send an email about the charge made after the free trial. Of course I didn't receive this email.

IF YOU'VE BEEN SCAMMED TRY THIS:
If you've hit the 14 say mark and been charged you could tell your credit card company if you haven't received this required email and you may have something to use in your case against them.

WHAT I RECOMMEND FOR FUTURE
Be informed of any credit card transactions immediately by subscribing to email alerts on your credit card.
