The food was really good, the local was welcoming and cozy, and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend coming if you are visiting copenhagen, it was a super nice experience.

We went as a group of five and started with nachos, which were honestly really good. For drinks, we tried the strawberry margarita and lime margarita — both were refreshing and delicious! 🍓🍋🍹

For the main course, we had chicken fajitas, and they were absolutely tasty and full of flavour. 🤤

And for dessert, we had the banana split — trust me, guys, it was REALLY good! 🍌🍨

Definitely going to visit again soon.

I celebrated my birthday at El Viejo Mexico with my whole family, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish!

The atmosphere was warm and vibrant, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. Their friendly service really made the celebration extra special.

After reading all the great reviews on tripadvisor, I had high expectations, and I'm happy to say they were completely justified and even exceeded! Everything was perfect, and we all had a fantastic time.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be back!

In Denmark, we expect businesses to operate with a certain level of integrity and fair labor standards. Unfortunately, the management here seems to operate with a completely different set of values. There is a deeply troubling disconnect between the friendly service and the questionable way the workforce is treated behind the scenes.

Ethical dining isn't just about the food; it's about how you treat people. Based on what I've witnessed regarding their labor practices, I cannot support this establishment. Profit seems to come before people here

We stopped by at El Viejo Mexico Restaurant this last May and we were so happy by the services and foods (Beef and Prawn Fajitas and buritto). The starters and desserts were also superb👍🙏🏾🙏🏾

I had a magnificent experience in El Viejo Mexico. Staff was friendly and responsive, allergies and preferences were clarified. The food, it was spectacular! The best mexican food in my life, combination of tastes and the spices make it unique. I recommend to visit that place with your family and have a nice, cozy evening or come with friends on a Friday night to enjoy some Margaritas.

Me and my husband were here with some friends last week and we really enjoyed the dinner at this place. The food was delicious and the restaurant was so cozy and the service was perfect. We truly recommend this place if you are in Copenhagen and looking for a good place to eat or if you ever have eaten Mexican food before than this have to taste. Very nice restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen, El Viejo Mexico have the top of the top fresh food.
I love the menu 1 with poppers, chicken wings on the bed of home made tortilla chips as appetizer . I find no words to say about the mixte fajitas just that was yummmmy 😍😍.

Amazing food, great customer service and atmosphere

We were a party of 6 people WHO enjoyed a nice Saturday evening at El Viejo. We had pre booked the table via the net and had pre booked one of the set menus and the meal was very good value for Money and together with some fantastic frozen magaritas and a very good housewine in a friendly and cosy atmosphere the evening was perfect, no rush and a lot of friendliness. We will for sure be back at other times.
