Extremely disappointing experience with this company. The process dragged on for months, requiring significant time, effort, and patience. Despite submitting everything requested and following up properly, the communication lacked professionalism, empathy, and basic courtesy. In the end, the application was rejected without consideration for the time and energy invested. The overall experience felt unfair and poorly managed. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before applying. Worst company

Do not go to this hospital as you'll be in the worst low secure hospital ever.
Staff members have been used to be working in medium secure wards and each one makes sure patients have the as bad of an experience as possible.
They keep the patients locked up as long as possible and change the goal post all the time.
They do not even give you a comlaint form when you want to make a complaint.
This hospital when you asking for your parcels they say later and later and later goes to your parcels and letters getting lost.
Staff members care more about getting fed and eat patients food and play pool and games rather than attending to patients.
In Elysium healthcare you are only allowed to use the garden until 10pm which means you won't be able to vape as you are only allowed to vape in the garden. You are not even allowed to vape in your own bedroom.
In Deveron ward all staff members are Africans apart from a few and they make up their own rules and they could be very racist.
Even the manager of the hospital doesn't know why some rules exist in the ward.

Elysium Reene Court Newport. This has got to be one of the worst care homes to ever working in . The manager. She is totally incompetent and should never be in the position that she is in she doesn’t care about anybody there. The residence most of them are neglected their rooms are stinking there is one man there that hasn’t come out of his room for over seven years. They just don’t care about him they just put his tray in his room, there is no interaction with him. They have left him like this for years the manager all she’s interested in is pleasing her bosses all the Staff dislike her and are very unhappy . It’s a toxic place to work she bullies everyone and doesn’t know what she’s doing half the time . she sits up in her office and she doesn’t even come down to interact with any of the staff or residents she is totally unprofessional and shouldn’t be in the position she’s in. I feel very sorry for the residence. Someone needs to go in there and check on them residence they are being neglected and treated in appalling conditions.

Worked for this care provider after they took over from Lighthouse Health Care. Having worked at the home for 15 years, forced out under stressful circumstances, no person centred support for staff, just looking after share holders I can only assume. Avoid them at all cost.

My dad works there in Hatfield their sick policy is shit he already works full time and he's down and stressed when he comes home at 7 50 pm pls elysium change it NOW

I stronly believe that my beautiful ,beloved Son would still be alive today had he never set foot through Elysiums doors.
His loving mother's 23 years experience of his condition , concerns of the drug regime changes by Elysium that had previously given good symptom management, with some quality of life v being totally drugged and no symptoms and concerns of full life threatenning symptoms, even death with no drug ignored, belittled and patronized until irreversable deteriation had occured.

Avoid this company at all costs .😡😡😡😡

I am a resident and have been attacked by members of staff here, they lied to cover themselves
They have also let a male resident attack me twice now for no reason and seemed to find a way to blame me for the attacks
The staff there found it funny and laughed about it

l applied for a position with this organisation. They claim to put their clients at the centre of what they do. What l experienced was an unprofessional, unskilled workforce with poor social skills. And that is putting the most generous description of my experience of trying to deal with this organisation. l actually raised a complaint with their head office of discrimination against me, for their poor behaviour towards me and withdrew my application. They immediately denied any problem. As we all know the first step in improving a bad situation is admitting you have a problem. This organisation doesn't have the ability to behave maturely and consequently lacks insight and competency. The other reviews here seems to support that assessment. In my opinion anyone sending clients to this organisation needs to seriously consider their standards of care.

I applied for this job and was offered the position, but while waiting for police verification, my application was unexpectedly withdrawn. I then reapplied, was shortlisted again, and attended another interview. I was told I would hear back within 48 hours, but I received no response despite repeatedly following up by phone and email. This entire process has been stressful and discouraging — especially as I had left my previous job in the hope of securing this role. I even went through the effort of travelling and submitting my DBS documents, only to be rejected in the end.

I applied for a role at this company. The company were keen to talk to me about the position I had applied for. After reviewing their feedback from family and patients, I promptly emailed them to explain that I will be withdrawing my application due to the awful reviews. Rather than having a response to my email from the recruitment team, they wrote a new email implying that my application would not be considered. Major alarm bells ringing.......

Wow! Our daughter was sent to elysium heslthcare group in England over 500 miles away from home she was 19, new Craig’s nhs highland sold this unit as amazing for treating our daughter’s trauma from her ex. Horses were promised therapy etc! Well this unit has destroyed our daughter abuse neglect and not a caring person works here except the reception team. This group should be shut down and no wonder nhs in such a mess paying private units 1000 a week for what? I would love a petition started. My daughter was only meant to go for 6 months and still there 1 year and 6 months later and they made her worse it’s breaks my heart

Under no circumstances should you work or refer a patient to this company!! There was not enough training for restraint techniques which resulted in dangerous practices. Staff were all scared of carrying out restraints which nearly caused me to be strangled and deeply cut with long and sharp nails that never got trimmed before the new patient arrived. On night shifts patients were neglected often and staff used to cook meals for themselves a lot while they were supposed to be working. Not just this but the company refused to pay me for the last two weeks that I worked and took my tax refund! I was left with nothing and a few months ago they decided to pay me £20.17 since they believed that’s what they owed me. Now they claim that I owe them £298.65 without any explanation or evidence that I do. The payroll and management is a complete joke. Stay clear! Worst company I’ve ever worked for.

No autism informed care. Many staff ignorant re autism. Very poor and chaotic psychology input. Poor risk assessments. No triangle of care. Dishonest consultant and awful Head Of Psychology, Dr Malinder Bhullar.

Dr Malinder Bhullar treated my daughter and I terribly. Her name calling and poor attitude was totally unprofessional and totally out of order.

All in all a totally ineffective admission.

My daughter made zero progress at Spring Wood Lodge, so had to be admitted to another hospital shortly after discharge. Currently receiving good autism informed care and receiving excellent psychological help in a different hospital. Shame on Spring Wood Lodge for failing to provide these two crucial things.

Elysium complaints process not fit for purpose, so no improvements made.

Spring Wood Lodge, please do much better for vulnerable mentally ill autistic people. Oh, and your complaints process needs a complete overhaul. In its current form it puts lives at risk. * even after stage 2 of the complaints process Dr Malinder Bhullar has chosen to continue lying, yet complaints process has been totally ineffective. If an improved CQC rating is sought then unprofessional staff who lie and provide poor care should be held to account.

Elysium Healthcare clearly doesn’t care for the patients at Thornford Park Hospital. The staff are constantly doing observations, and it’s difficult to get a member of staff to take patients to the dining hall. They make up excuses not to do this. What ever you do, NEVER let your loved ones be admitted to this hospital

After my review the other day the person concerned was actually beaten by idiots as she was in a bad way hearing voices at the bus stop and is now so unwell I wouldn’t send a farmyard pig to this facility it’s beyond evil you basically let someone out clearly unwell to die shame on you ! You should be shut down disgusting

I would leave the highest imaginable NEGATIVE NUMBER if that were possible. I’m omitting some details such as location, names etc for fear of reprisals against the inmates (patients) but will happily share these off line. Having made an appointment for escorted 2 hour leave to take a family member out for breakfast and having completed the 2 hour drive and arriving on time we were informed that this leave was not possible due to staff shortages. The staff were rude and aggressive and then denied a visit of any kind for the following day. Staff keep their badges hidden and refuse to reveal identities. Even prisoners awaiting trial are entitled to daily visits.
One way occasion I observed a slightly built inmate (patient) against a wall being leaned over by a hugely built warden with his face about 6 inches from the inmates face. Clothes have gone missing from the laundry room with other people seen wearing them the following day.
It’s impossible to see how this establishment can provide any therapeutic benefit to people incarcerated there to recover from illness.

Offered a Registered Manager position With Elysium Health care, August / Sept 2023, for a service I was told at interview the service would be open in January 2024. I started work in January only to find that the service would not be opening until the End of March 2024. The service in May is still not Open, expected opening date is now June 2024. Offered a Job as Registered Manager, then on starting this became a commissioning manager, nothing in the original Job advert and nothing in contract of employment. To me this was dishonest.
from January to May 2024, Senior Manager, conducted what I would consider to be extreme bullying and Harassment, wanting throughout to terminate my employment on unsuccessful probation, using many managers in the Elysium managers click to achieve this.
What is the most disturbing is that the feedback from the probation was something that in over 25-years working in health care many years at a senior level and for different companies never had feed back like that, in fact the majority of my previous feed back had always been very positive.
In my opinion the Elysium Management are extremely poor, unprofessional and well out of their depth. Communication within Elysium is shocking, rude, disrespectful.
If Elysium had told me the truth about the new service in December I would have withdrawn my application, acceptance, and never have worked for them, shocked giving up a good job to work for rubbish like that.
The only positive as my partner says, if I hadn't of taken the Job I would never have known.
My advice is stay well Clear.
