You just made things worse

Dear Embers camping, I have just received a reply to my feedback that was sent directly to you. I wasn’t going to bother with a negative review despite the ripped bell tent. Instead of the fact that your tents are extremely unstable( two tents completely collapsed, several other ones were ripped or damaged) you are writing in your reply there was nothing wrong. Yes, we were offered a replacement tent which I declined. the staff acknowledged now and then that the tent was damaged. It was inspected . Who is lying ? You are way out of line here. To tell me that there was nothing wrong.
10 percent of our next stay? We won’t be returning , I can assure you. Neither will be the rest of the group.

Dont group book

Our recent camping experience with @EmbersCamping was meant to be more than just a getaway; it was a chance for our extended group of friends to reconnect, to spend quality time together, and create lasting memories. I meticulously planned this event nearly a year in advance, excitedly anticipating the joy of catching up with dear friends. However, our excitement turned into frustration when we arrived at the campsite to find our group dispersed across the field. This unexpected separation disrupted our plans and left us unable to enjoy evenings together, share meals, or engage in the activities we had envisioned. We paid a significant amount for this experience, more than the average hotel stay, and we felt blindsided by the lack of prior communication about the change in their policies. Despite reaching out through several emails, we have yet to receive a suitable resolution from Embers Camping. It's disheartening when an event you've been looking forward to for so long falls short of expectations, and the company's response has left us deeply unsatisfied. 😔 #EmbersCamping #GroupGathering #CustomerExperience

Great campsite!

Stayed two weeks in a row with fantastic service from the whole team. One of our bell tents ripped in the strong winds and they were on hand to fix it straight away. Really helpful, friendly staff.

Small shop onsite to get teas, coffees, snacks etc. Clean facilities - hot/cold showers, toilets etc. Would definitely go back

Embers Turners Hill

Embers Turners Hill.

This place has no facilities whatsoever.
No electricity, no water.
There are 4/5 small shower cubicles, 4 loos and 2 urinals.
They're clean though.
Once you unload your car you need to drive it to the car park because otherwise "the grass gets ruined", so we were told.
By doing two trips, one for unloading and the other to load before you leave, you have driven on the same piece of grass 4 times instead of 2, maths is not an opinion.
The ground is extremely uneven and there are holes everywhere.
A very good inflatable mattress is essential.
This place is not family friendly.
If you intend to have some fun, go somewhere else, however, if you just intend to sit miserably in your cheap camping chair and read a book, you'll love this place.
We went there with 6 other families, a group of about 25 people.
Some miserable sad campers complained about us having fun and laughing loudly.
This happened both days we were there.
The staff had to come and explain that some people go camping to be quite, not to enjoy themselves.
Never heard of that.
The forest around there is very good though, it pays to have a long walk and just relax in nature.
I don't understand why they accept large groups when they want just a miserable silent camp site.
One word each between 25 people makes a noise, let alone if you're having fun and lough.
Anyhow, it's not somewhere I'd go again, even if free.
Too many rules, no facilities and only suitable for sad people who don't know there are parks local to them where they can go for free and read their book.
