Unacceptable refusal of a valid claim for a damaged appliance – poor customer support
I had an extremely negative experience with the Emmezeta webshop. I purchased a built-in oven that arrived packed in styrofoam and protective plastic wrap. There was no visible damage on the outside of the packaging, but as soon as I removed the protective wrap, I noticed significant physical damage to the appliance itself.
I immediately submitted a complaint along with photos showing both the damaged product and the original packaging. Their response? They rejected the claim, alleging that the packaging was "untidy and damaged"—which is completely untrue and directly contradicted by the photos provided. Despite multiple attempts to clarify the situation via email, their customer support continuously repeats the same template response and refuses to take responsibility for delivering damaged goods.
As a customer buying home appliances, you expect fairness, but instead, you are met with total disregard for consumer rights and shifting of the blame. The case has been reported to the State Inspectorate (Market Inspection). I strongly advise against buying sensitive appliances from their webshop, as you will be left entirely on your own if any issues arise.
