Solid, focused prep for NYS court exams
I used Empire Court Prep while studying for a New York State court exam and found it genuinely helpful. The material is clearly organized around the actual exam topics, and the questions feel relevant rather than generic test prep filler. I especially liked having flashcards and practice questions in one place instead of jumping between books and PDFs.
The site is straightforward and easy to use, and it’s clear the content is written by someone who understands how these exams are structured. That alone makes it more useful than a lot of broader civil service prep options.
I’m giving it four stars instead of five because there’s still room to expand the question pool and add more explanations in certain areas, but overall it did what I needed it to do and helped me feel more prepared going into the exam.
I’d recommend it to anyone taking a NYS court exam who wants focused, no-nonsense prep.
