I had a hair transplant at Dr. Cinik Clinic in September 2023. Now, 18 months later, I am left with a result that is extremely thin, uneven and cosmetically unsatisfactory.

I followed all aftercare instructions to the letter. The result should be fully developed by now – but it doesn’t even look 50% like what I was promised.

I have contacted the clinic several times and their response is the same every time: “We are proud of the result”. It clearly shows that they do not take responsibility, even when the result is unsatisfactory and documented with pictures.

My advice: Don’t be fooled by marketing and Instagram photos. If you are considering Cinik, think twice. I wish I had chosen a clinic with real surgical control and fewer patients per day.

Most of these reviews are bought. Even a person who worked at dr ciniks clinic admitted that. This is a simple hair mill. You will see dr cinik for 30 seconds only. Afterwards you will be in the hands of his ''technicians'' , who are most likely going to butcher you and then you will be on your own. You can contact them of course, but they will just say that everything is going according to plan when in reality, they have destroyed your donor area, your hair and you now look even worse than before. Guys, pay a little more and go to a real surgeon. This is an important procedure and can either improve your life or mess it up completely like in my case.

BEWARE! "Dr Cinik", who doesnt even perform the hair transplants himself is the biggest fraud in the industry. He will take your money, he will mess up your hair and then refuse to take responsibility. Pretending that everything is fine. I have contacted 3 of the worlds best hair transplant surgeons and they were appalled to see what has been done to me. However Cinik says it looks great. I wish I could share the pictures here. Even things he says on his website are essential for a high quality hair transplant werent done. These people are everything that is wrong with the world. I am going to have two additional procedures to fix what they have done to me.

My hair transplant in the clinic of Dr. Cinik was very good. From scheduling to postop checkups everything was well planned and coordinated. Everyone I interacted with was nice, professional and knows what to do. Darya was amazing coordinating everything. Another name I could remember is Hichem whose help is very appreciated. For the transplant itself I chose sapphire tip opening by Dr. Cinik and it lasted about 7 or 8 hours. Anesthesia administration was the hardest part but still was tolerable for me. Once anesthesia was over, which took about 10 min maybe, the rest was very comfortable. I even slept when Dr. Cinik was opening the channels. The rest of the operation is done by a team that was again professional and very responsive to anything I ask. They were always smiling which is comforting. I got around 5500 grafts. After the operation was over I came back for hair wash during 2 days before I took my plane back home. Now I am at 2 months and 2 weeks postop and I can see growth that s expected at this time. No infection and no complications. Itching has subsided but still have little numbness in the receiving area. Overall the experience was great. Though I live in the US I chose to do it in Turkey because of the price but also because Dr. Cinik and his team are very good. I don’t exaggerate, the quality of the service was better than many clinics here. Also the same procedure that costs me less than $ 6000 including plane tickets and food would cost me around $ 20000 here around my home. I highly recommend the clinic of Dr. Cinik for HT they simply know what they are doing. I know I need a second HT to fill the crown more and I will definitely go back to them.

I had a surgery at Dr Cinik on January 2021. Everything went perfectly.
I booked easily with Rania and she took care of everything before my arrival. The communication was easy and I booked easily ! She reply to all my questions with clear reply. Then I traveled to Istanbul without any problems. All sanitary conditions are perfectly respected in Istanbul and inside the clinic as well. I felt safe. I was welcome by Dr Cinik and his team for a pre surgery brief to explain me all the procedure.Dr Cinik is a great person and very kind and take his time to make you feel confortable. The team is very professional and very kind as well. I had some stress before the surgery but they made feel much better when I arrived.
The surgery itself went perfectly, Dr Cinik and his team did a amazing work. Better than I expected. They change my life and give my confidence back ! No pain, smooth operation. Perfect ! After the surgery they keep in touch every month to check if everything is ok. Honestly, I wasnt expecting that kind of perfect Clinic. I recommend Dr Cinik clinic 100%.

Hello, I am 25 years old, I come from Paris.
I chose to do my hair transplant with Doctor Cinik because a friend of mine had an operation in the clinic and the result after 6 months is very impressive.
So I decided to get in touch with Madame Samia, the French-speaking assistant to Doctor Cinik, who all immediately explained the process to me and reassured me.
I had to wait for the lockdown to finish before I could finally set an operation date.

At the beginning of July I was able to catch my flight to Istanbul.
As soon as I left Paris, I always felt safe from the virus.
The support on the plane, with special hygienic kits on the plane and the social distancing are respected in airports as much as possible.
During the trip you are asked to fill out a sheet certifying that you do not have symptoms of the coronavirus virus and you to specify which one have been in during the last 14 days.
The form is then to be given at the passport control upon entry into Turkey.
Then, when you arrive in Istanbul, the hygiene rules are much stricter than in France, you feel completely safe everywhere, from the airport everyone wears a mask, the temperature is checked very regularly, with checkpoints at airports, at the hotel.

On the day of arrival at the clinic, the measurements are also there, with a security gantry which completely mist the body with disinfectant, also with temperature control with thermal camera.

Everything then went as planned, with extremely strict adherence to hygienic regulations in the clinic.
All of the clinic staff wear masks and take care of patients very carefully, all is going fast we did not have to wait and all are in a good mood with a smile.

Doctor Cinik's clinic is the safest place to have a hair transplant operation, as soon as we arrive at the clinic we can feel the warm welcome given to us by the employees and medical staff as well as to the hospital. hotel where we lack nothing.
And finaly the Post operation service by Madame Ceyda is excellent.

From my arrival in Istanbul to my return to Paris, everything went smoothly and in compliance with good sanitary measures. I am very satisfied to have had the operation in the clinic of Doctor Cinik and I would like to thank Dr Cinik and all his team and staff members and a special thanks to Madame Samia the French-speaking translator who looked after me from the beginning to the end of my stay in Istanbul.

I was conned in by fake reviews, I now deeply regret contacting and spending money on a transplant with Dr Emrah Cinik. I dealt with Fatih Gençoğlu (assistant of Dr Cinik), Funda Dağlı (general manager) and Dr Emrah Cinik. I have kept a record of all communications and I will shortly have a website listed detailing my awful journey.
The staff listed above are wholly dishonest, deceitful and when they want your money they'll message you every hour, when you need them, it will sometimes take you 34 days for a reply, despite repeated attempts to contact them. They caused me a great deal of stress after I had booked my flights to Turkey, as nobody would get back to me about who I was meeting at the airport or travel arrangements in Turkey.
You'll have a quick consultation with Dr Emrah Cinik, I was lured to Turkey on the proviso I would have 3500-3800 grafts. When meeting Dr Cinik he insisted I only needed 3200 grafts. He drew lines on my head and I said that's not my natural hairline, he could add more grafts and he insisted I would not need more grafts than 3200. I should have walked away at this point, despite having spent £250+ on visa & travel to Turkey.
You are rushed into theatre, the injections are very painful, like having a scalpel dragged across your scalp. As soon as you enter the operation room they'll drug you with a tablet telling you "it is to help you relax" and you'll be unconscious for hours within 20 mins of taking this pill. When you wake you'll be dizzy & disoriented.
Whilst still in Turkey your head will feel terrible from the trauma, particularly the first night. A short while after returning to the UK I realised that they had not put grafts in the area they should have, my worst balding area was left untouched. I also went to a specialist in the UK and their opinion was that nowhere near 3200 grafts had been put in my head, perhaps half was the suggestion.
I opened dialogue with Fatih Gençoğlu & this is where the clinic became illusive. They kept saying to just wait, it will grow in time and you will see results. and I pointed out that I will not see hair growth in areas they did not put grafts. I plainly asked Fatih; how hair would grow in areas where there are not grafts? He refused to answer. He avoided contact for over a month when I pointed out there are nowhere near the stated number of grafts in my head. He told me there is a video of my whole operation, I then requested a copy of this, I said I didn't mind paying for this & he told me the company don't allow customers copies of the operation video. Surely that is my right to see my own operation? It appears they don't comply with 'subject access' requests.
I kept catching Fatih out lying or being deceitful in conversation, or just completely avoiding answering questions that I kindly numbered for him. He then began to ignore me completely. During this process I repeatedly asked to speak with other members of staff as an alternative, as his written tone was mocking me, he ignored these requests. What kind of a medical facility denies you the right to speak to the consultant who organised your operation? I was refused access to Dr Emrah Cinik.
I allowed 8 months to pass after my operation, which they told me I would see the best results by then. My hairdresser told me I have bald spot in the back of my hair, exactly where I told the clinic they neglected to put grafts. I went back and requested a refund. This time I got Funda replying, she did apologise for my very poor experience with my operation / Fatih Gencoglu. Once again when asking direct questions to a member of staff at the Dr Cinik hair transplant clinic, they were completely ignored. Funda did offer me a refund, however this hasn't transpired. She seemed to want my latest address to put a legal team on me to stop me speaking the truth. Coincidentally, people In Turkey have been trying to hack my social media accounts. I don't know who it is for sure but ... I have an idea.

I found out about Dr. Cinik by researching hair transplants. I flew from the US to Istanbul just to have the FUE procedure. I am very happy with the decision. The staff is incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean and organized. Dr. Cinik is knowledgeable and professional. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Cinik and his staff if you're interested in a hair transplant. I based my decision on the many great reviews I read on Dr. Cinik, and now here I am writing another 5 star review. Thank you, Dr. Cinik and staff!

Everyone in the office was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor took time to answer all my questions thoroughly. After returning home, some other questions arose and he returned my call immediately and addressed them as well.

I made lots of researches before i decided to do my hair transplant with Dr. Cinik. Now i agree with all of them. He is a very professional doctor who knows how to treat his patients.
