I thoroughly enjoyed purchasing the organic oud sampler set from Ensar Oud. I was originally hesitant to spend $185 on such a small quantity of essential oils, as this is my first time buying oud, however, they exceeded my expectations with their superb quality and uniquely approachable scents. Additionally, this sampler kit arrived at my address from the Middle East sooner than I expected, which is a great positive for those who struggle with impatience like myself. I believe my money was very well spent with this purchase and I look forward to acquiring more oud oils from EO in the future.

Really good sampler! Loved most of the ouds, Vietnam smells pretty rough if you don't like intense animal smells, but the rest are beautifully funky and I love it.

Interesting experience this far. Having never tried real Oud before I have no context in which to compare this. That said I look forward to continue to explore these samples to get a better understanding if the most precious ingredient!

Let me start off by saying waw, simply waw! For the longest time during my fragrance journey I always wondered, what does Oud smell like?" Until I found ensar and a couple of years ago and bought Iris Ghalia Pure Parfum and got a small drop of Oud Yusuf and Musk as complementary samples. Honestly I was more into the smell of the samples than the perfume itself. Now a couple of years later I finally bought the Organic Oud Sample set and I'm very happy with this decision! I honestly can write paragraphs on the smell of these Ouds (because they are that amazing) but I will try to keep them as short as possible (and i wish i shouldn't) -Oud Extraordinaire: This one is sweet honey like, cinnamon, sweet-spicy, very inoffensive and likeable. Truly the Oud i would recommend to any beginner. This one reminds me the most of Oud Yusuf with the other half being sweet and pretty much no barn at all. A true work of art, bravo Ensar 👏. -Oud Dhul Q: This one should be named Oud Zen because you are transported to the most relaxed place in the world when you smell this 🧘‍♂️. Smokey, woody-aromatic, very incensy, calming, smooth darkness in the background. This is the Oud to smell of you just want relax and enjoy the smoke of a burning oud but in oil format. I don't know how Ensar does it but man, what and oil! -Santina: This one is what I like to call "The jack of all trades". This Oud has a bit of everything. Sweet, fruity (not sugary), Slightly smokey, smooth dark barn in the background, Slightly chocolaty, and of course woody. It's an Oud for when you want to have fun picking notes apart while also being pleasant. -Kesucian: Honestly i haven't had too much time with this one but it's simply because it smelled so good off the sample that I left it for the end. Ensar described this as not the best option for a novice but to my nose is very pleasant. It has this vintage smell to it backed with a nice old like woody-smoke with almost no barn to detect, wet jungle-like smell in the background, with slight sweet-ish leaf notes (mint-ish leaf effect maybe?). This Oud oil was the most surprising to me, couldn't believe a jungle could smell so nice! -Assam Organic: I finally smelled what people decribe as "the barnyard oud". And to be honest, it's true. I live in the "countryside" surrounded by my family members and they had all sorts of animals. Horses, chickes, goats, etc. And as a child me and my cousins used to play all around them all the time and I'm very familiar with that scent, and it does have that barn smell to it, i detect it immediately. BUT it's not just that only, you have to train your nose to get passed that in order to appreciate the other notes this oil has to offer. Its smooth barn, leathery, manly, slightly animalic, soft woody-smoke, and surprisingly cinnamony-sweet in the drydown. This Oud is the one that teaches how to smell Oud and the byproduct effect is that it makes ALL your other Oud oils better. Because you are able to detect more notes after you have been exposed to something challenging. -Maroha Myaku (Wild Oud)- If you made it this far into the review, i will reward you with the best for last (imo). THIS IS IT! All of the times I asked myself, what does Oud smell like? All of the times I thought and imagined what it *could* smell like. All you could ever dream of what it could smell, to me, is this Oud oil right here. Dark-strongwoods, black soft leathery note, dark rich smoke in the background, rich soft-sweet-ish incese, relaxation therapy in an oil. The embodiment of looking at an agarwood chip and thinking "huh? I wonder what it smells like". I am so happy this one was my surprise wild oud oil 🙏. -Bonus round! Bishara Attar and Kam Kyoro Pure Parfum: As most of us know Ensar is very nice with his customers and always give you more! These complimentary samples always make me so happy! Bishara is amazing!! Fruity, coconut, sweet, gourmand, like honestly you smell this and you want to eat it instead of smell it. The most beautiful attarI have ever smelled. Kam Kyoro PP, this is a very green, vivid, earthy fragrance, it's like if there would be a remedy of life this is what it would smell like. Ensar, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us the opportunity to be able to smell such wonders 🙏

I just received the set today and I was thrilled that this would be my first introduction to Oud. I've smelled them all but only tried one. Captivating stuff. And I really appreciate the extra two samples that were included!! I'll be back :)
