Male hose connector at one end of the filter is fitted using some type of white tape on the threads. It leaks constantly and i would have thought that a better type of production/quality control is more appropriate. The female connector uses a rubber washer type connection and that is fine. Same method for the male end is perhaps an improvement that could be supplied

The white tape you mentioned is PTFE tape, which is used to prevent leaks in threaded connections. If it has come loose, this may be the cause of the leak. Applying some more PTFE tape should resolve the issue, as it is the industry standard for ensuring leak-free couplings. The product did not live up to my expectations, we have a similar DI product fitted to the shower which works well. The inline hose one did not improve the water quality at all and left just as many deposits on my paintwork as it did without it fitted. I am not sure if it needs any pre treating prior to first use, it didnt say it did. I will give it another go to see if it was just a first use blip.
A very good product.
Water feels softer after this filter, still leaves water marks on the paint work, it also restricts the flow to much for my pressure washer, so i can only use it with a standard hose spray head.
This doesn't last as long as described

Does what it says, streak and spot free finish when I used on the cars the other day
Only used once, but seemed to do exactly what it says on the tin
Excellent product. First one sent out had a minor issue that didn’t affect the use too much - the customer service was excellent and following an email query from me, Lewis in customer service posted out an entire new unit at no charge without asking. Excellent all round - worked perfectly and would certainly be ordering my consumables here again! Thank you
Have just cleaned my windows using this product “inline” and my windows are as good as any window cleaner, great little device, well worth the money.

The results are brilliant with the product, unfortunately it doesn’t last very long and gives you no indication of when it’s finished.
This does exactly what it says, ideal for on the end of the window cleaning brushes to stop leaving water marks on the windows. Excellent backup service from the company if you should need it. Highly recommend.
Top quality product does the job
Works well but doesn’t last long can’t get a full working week out of it as a window cleaner and that’s with soft water.

Very pleased with the results Jet washed the car and windows and there were no water spots Great value for money
Not sure how long it will last but does a good job tested water before and after fitting improves quality by in my case around 15%
