Slow delivery times and poor customer service

Ordered horse feed on 6th March. No update until 13th March when they sent four separate emails for each line item on the order with tracking numbers for DPD that are four digits too short so can't actually be tracked.

Eventually received one of the items on 16th March marked as box 4 of 4 but no sign of the other three boxes!

No phone number listed so only contact is by email which was not responded to until 17th March and just saying that they would get my order out to me to arrive tomorrow! This made no sense as it was supposedly already on its way to me so I emailed again to query and no response at all

Has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with for horse feed and not to be able to telephone for customer service is a real red flag.

Needless to say I won't be using them again

Bought a selection of items for my yard. Received delivery confirmation they were arriving in two parcels. They actually all arrived individually sprawled out across a week so I didn’t know if things were missing or not during this time. Some items arrived damaged. So I contacted them immediately no response. I have to email again to receive a reply saying they would contact me asap to let me n in ow whether a replacement or refund was being offered …. 3 weeks later I have sent another two emails and heard nothing back. The worst company I have ever dealt with. It’s not hard to reply to emails and deal with products damaged in transit ! I do it myself in my own company.

Terrible customer service

I bought a pair of boots which arrived very promptly. Unfortunately one has developed a squeak in the heel so I have emailed twice about a replacement. No contact from anyone, no phone number to ring.... short of driving to Hatfield I don't know what else to do. Happy to change my review if they bother to get in touch.

Positive experience

I ordered a rug liner without reading the reviews and then felt worried about my purchase. I didn’t need to worry as I got an email the next day to say the rug was with Yodel and it arrived today - 4 days after purchase. Will buy from this company again as no complaints.

Repeated terrible customer service

Repeated terrible customer service. Ordered 3 bags of feed, just got a refund for one (no communication) and one was delivered. Repeated emails to them requesting a refund for the other bag that hasn't been delivered. They often to this, but unfortunately I often have no choice but to order from this company. Rude, incompetent and quite happy to take your money but not refund when they don't supply the goods. Avoid avoid, avoid.

Disgusting customer service!

I ordered a very expensive equine gastric supplement, which arrived broken, with half the contents spilled in the delivery box. After four emails and no response, I’m super annoyed, absolutely shocking customer service. I will never deal with this company again!

Appalling customer service

I always order from little peckers for wild bird food. Never had a problem until now.
One 20kg bag was received damaged and lots of the contents lost. I have emailed THREE times and to date no response. Never answer the phone either. Totally frustrating rubbish customer service 😡

Shocking customer service!

Absolutely terrible customer service!! I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them.
I ordered a matching saddle pad and fly bonnet from them but only the bonnet was delivered. As my daughter obviously wanted a matching set, the bonnet was no use without the saddle pad and unfortunately the saddle pad is not available anywhere else online in this colour way. I contacted the company to enquire about the missing item and it was only when they eventually replied to my email, that they even bothered to action a refund for the £50 saddle pad. They did not do this if their own accord and had held on to my money for nearly 2 weeks. I explained to them that the two were obviously bought as a set and if they had contacted me to say one item wasn’t available, I would have cancelled the order. Because of their mistake in taking my order and money for an out of stock item and not informing me of its unavailability, I do not feel I should then have to pay for the return on top of all inconvenience already caused. They refuse to listen, just stating it’s ‘not their policy. I hope they think sticking to their policy is worth losing customers over!

If you want to wait weeks for order then get them from here. Non existent customer service.

They might be slightly better prices but I work rather pay more for no hassle. Customer service is non existent- emailed twice about my order that never turned up. No reply. Emailed again then 2 days later I get a reply “it’s saying delivered now” tracking never updates. No sorry. Never know a company like it. Wish I read the other horrendous reviews. Company is a joke!

Terrible service - stole my money

Terrible, I wish I had read these reviews. I ordered a horse supplement (expensive) 18th November and after 9 days I contacted the company to find out where it was. They contacted the courier (Yodel) who do not seem to have replied. It is now the 5th December, I have asked 3 times now for my money back and have not had any response. That is theft in my opinion. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Save yourself shop elsewhere

Placed order but only half arrived. Contact customer services. If your lucky Jules will reply if however 99% of the time he/she will just ignore you. Reported missing items told the rest is on way. Nope a couple of pieces arrived still missing nearly half of it. Emailed ignored. Emailed again ignored. In the end I filed a charge back. Suddenly Jules gets back in contact. Even has the cheek to ask me to stop the charge back as hadn't even read that properly so thought I was filing for everything and not just the missing items. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere its a front door for Havelins. The worse business I've ever dealt with.

Avoid - buy elesewhere

They take payment and do not send goods, impossible to contact, do not reply to emails on their customer service address. I would strongly recommend that you avoid this company like the plague.

Fabulous Repeat Service

Almost didn’t order from this company because of the reviews. Only did because they were the only company selling the unusual feed that I wanted at a reasonable price. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! Fabulous service! Easy to use website, great communication and speedy delivery. I’ve just received my second order which was, once again, the same service as my original. I would highly recommend!!

Don't respond to emails

One of my items was missing, contacted them and they won't respond to my emails. I had been putting in a large monthly order with them but with such poor customer service will be buying from somewhere else.

Wish I had read reviews before…

Wish I had read reviews before purchasing! Placed an order got email to say order had been shipped but courier saying they’ve not received parcel! Have emailed a few times as there’s no contact number and have had no reply at all. hoping they do come back to me so I can get a full refund!!
