DO NOT BUY ONLINE

DO NOT BUY ONLINE
I have had the extremely unfortunate experience of purchasing a white bikini at the Eres online shop for EU. The suit came perfectly to me, I opened the box, beautiful packaging. I tried it on and realized the top is too large. Bottom piece perfect. I IMMEDIATELY printed out the return slip (so easy to do!), repacked the top in the exact same canvas bag, wrapped it in the exact same tissue paper, and put it in the exact same box with a new label for return. Basically this top spent all of 15 minutes outside of the box.
Return via DHL drop-off point went smoothly. I didnt hear anything for about a week. I thought well maybe I should send an email. Customer service replied within 48 hours and said that they would not be refunding me, as the item in question was destroyed. I was gobsmacked. Still am. I immediately wrote to them and asked for photographic proof. I had to wait 6 days and then today I received an email with a photograph of, I kid you not, some old and disgusting grey underwear it looks like. First of all the picture is a close-up of something grey, just the crotch, and then in the background there is a hook and eye closure like the back of a bra strap. I honestly and truly cannot say it enough: I absolutely, positively, one hundred percent did NOT send back something so disgusting to the company of a luxury brand. And would never do that! To anyone!
The only thing I can think of is that someone from DHL opened the box and decided to do something ugly, or someone at Eres opened the box and then mixed it up with some other junk from another customer... I dont know. But I really really feel upset and angry and disappointed because basically I just gave a charity handout to a major luxury swimwear brand (Chf 240) for NoTHiNg. And it sucks. I have been a client of Eres for over a decade - all in person shopping - all over the world. But this is over from now on. I would rather learn to sew my own stuff than have to deal with this kind of mess.
I dont blame the company necessarily, but I do definitely blame them for being unable to provide me with ample evidence that this crap in the photo they sent was sent by ME (they cant because it wasnt). There is no accompanying paper with return info on it (I sent mine to them), there is no picture of the box it was sent in (I sent them mine), there is no photo of the outside return label info with my name on it (I sent them mine!).
So for all this, I am just out. This is insanity. Never again.

Beautifully Designed

Now this is a total different story to my last review. It may have been unfair as I tried these items on at the same time as trying the Initials Paris items and there is no comparison. Eres new range for the summer has gorgeous detailing and looks amazing on. Their colours are bold and will look great in the sun.

I got a deep aqua strapless one piece with a U shape feature and it’s so sexy and stylish. The only thing I would say is that you have to be willing to spend £££. They are really quite expensive but honestly, the quality is so beautiful that you can understand why. If you’re willing to invest in swimwear this summer I’d head straight over to Eres!

Company violates legal terms and conditions of sale.

Sadly, this company does not honor its product. Purchased a swimsuit with a hidden defect: seam unraveled upon 3rd time of wearing the swimsuit. Contacted company immediately. Despite legal conditions of sale on website in both EU - where company is domiciled - as well as US, where sale was completed - company failed to replace the swimsuit. French consumer law printed on cite states clearly that the customer has the right to choose between repair or replacement of the garment.
I have never dealt with a luxury goods company which does not honor its product. I have also bought these swimsuits for a decade, in Paris, London, and the US, and have never had an issue with the quality before. Eres Paris has clearly stated legal terms concerning hidden defects on their website, and am incensed that they would lose future sales and references as a result of being non-compliant.
