Bought my engagement ring from the Warrington store around 18 moths ago, a beautiful 18ct Vera Wang ring. When I was purchasing this ring I was told that the white gold should last between 12 moths - 3 years so when I was given a free rhodium plating to use within a 12 month period I was bit confused as to why it would have to be done within 12 mths.
In February 2023 I used the free rhodium plating service, the ring was returned to me within a couple of week which was all good.
I have recently bought my wedding ring from Ernest Jones and when I tried this on with my engagement ring the yellow gold is showing through quite prominent, this is after 5-6 months. After discussions with other jewellers I was advised to return the ring to the store.
I returned the ring this morning to the Warrington store, however I was told that the plating can come off a white gold ring within 3 months and that there was nothing that could be done. This was not what I was told when I bought the ring!
I have numerous other white gold rings that have been on my finger for years and have still not had to be rhodium plated so either there is a problem with the actual ring or the service that was provided in February!
The poor customer service and attitude I received from this store would definitely make me think twice before buying jewellery from Ernest Jones in the future.

Easy to use not recommending the store , as they say item was out of stock and they couldn't assist. But able to order online mind boggles

Having heard nothing on the Friday about delivery, I rang the store first thing Saturday morning to be informed that the item hadn't even been dispatched!!! And it could be the 28th until delivery.
I was due to propose Christmas eve
Customer service has been none existent, no updates, no resolutions, they have just taken my cash and are not bothered!
Do not trust this store with any important purchases

Will definitely go in store next time.
If you want your engagement ring to last more than TWO YEARS do NOT buy from here.
They are trying to charge me £200 to put a diamond back in my ring. They are claiming I have caught it on something despite the ring being worn on the same hand as a £60 Pandora ring so clearly they have both been exposed to the same conditions. The stores response was “our rings are made different to Pandora”. Well for nearly 2K instead of £60 I would hope so. However it appears the quality is so much worse with even worse customer service in the warrington store!
Please DO NOT buy from here, I do not wish my experience with this company on anybody else.

I ordered the new Casio G-SHOCK GST 500 Gold to pick up at the Warrington store. Couldn't get hold of one from G-SHOCK themselves.
I didn't get the young lady's name who served me but she was delightful, professional and polite. Presented the watch to me with all the original stickers on and stamped the various guarantee forms and then packaged everything back up and put in a luxury Ernest Jones bag for me.
The watch is fabulous and probably one of the best G-SHOCK's ever and i even found a discount code.

Had to return a Christmas gift gold necklace today due to some of the links appearing to be coming away. The store assistant initially asked if I, 'had caught it on anything', which I hadn't. She asked if we wanted a refund or replacement. We preferred a replacement having bought several pieces of jewellery from this store.
The assistant took the necklace to be examined by her manager then returned to state that the manager had said it looked as though it had 'caught on something'. I pointed out that the necklace was actually flat links and if it had been snagged (which it hadn't) then that would mean that there was a a fault in the link join. The assistant replied, 'well I don't know how you've been wearing it'. I informed her that I found her remark offensive and we would take a refund rather than a replacement (incidentally there was a good selection for me to choose from which I would have been happy to do so).
Sad outcome really as all staff are the face of Ernest Jones and we have always been happy with this store's service. We shall unfortunately be looking elsewhere in future
