Two days post-DHI at Esteworld Istanbul and the experience is flawless! Zero pain during or after—numbed perfectly and felt nothing. The clinic is spotless, Teuta, my translator that helped me through the whole procedure and after care was amazing . The rest of the staff are warm, and incredibly attentive; from airport pickup to 5-star hotel stay, everything was seamless. It is well organised, got a lot of medical treatments , even blood tests etc. The procedure was pleasent , the anesthesia part hurted a bit , but that was ok. The extraction and implantation was comfortable and painless. DHI technic is also fast and punctual so my procedure was done by around 3 pm!

They have advised me well about the aftercare, and even on whatsapp we keep in touch. !

Esteworld is truly something else – from the very first contact to the journey home and the aftercare.

I have been experiencing hair loss since my teenage years, and now at 27, I had enough. I searched Google for many clinics, but all I could find were companies with thousands of what seemed like “fake paid” reviews everywhere.

I then turned to Reddit to look for real experiences with photos and honest feedback, and that’s when I found Esteworld. No bad reviews, extremely satisfied customers, and – most importantly for me – extremely hygienic!

I decided to take the chance and went there with a friend. Every time a concern came up, Esteworld was ready to ease our worries. They were quick with solutions, both through communication beforehand and on-site. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the moment you step inside, you can tell it’s a respected and clean clinic. The team really feels like a family.

I couldn’t be happier with the results of my transplant. The operation itself was completely painless! Many people worry about the pain, especially from the injections, but Esteworld solves that problem – completely pain-free from start to finish. Of course, after an eight-hour procedure, you feel a bit shocked, but some food afterwards warmed me up perfectly.

I will 100% come back here – nowhere else! I firmly believe this is the best clinic you can find.

I had a very good experience. Everything was organized and structured, I didn't have to do anything.
The treatment went smoothly and the result is outstanding.
The nurses were always there and took good care of me. I felt completely at ease. A Specially Ms. tülay has take care of me for everything!

1. Patient Documentation
It would be helpful if all required documents for patients to review and sign were sent in advance of their appointment. These documents should be provided in the patient’s preferred language to ensure full understanding. Utilizing a digital signing service, such as DocuSign, could simplify the process for both the clinic and patients.
2. Medication Instructions
Medications should be clearly labeled with simple, easy-to-follow directions (e.g., “1 tablet after meal” or “2 tablets after meal”). Additionally, the medication list should align exactly with the written instruction sheet provided to the patient to avoid confusion.
3. Pain Management
Based on my personal experience, I believe the level of pain I endured could have been better managed. I felt that alternative options may have been available, but my concerns were not fully acknowledged during the process.
4. Hygiene and Patient Comfort
If a technician has a persistent cough, they should refrain from working directly with patients. Even if they are wearing a mask, it can still make patients feel uncomfortable and uneasy.
5. Hotel Accommodation
The hotel should provide a freezer in each room so patients do not need to go down to the lobby in the middle of the night to store or access ice packs and other frozen items.

As I had serious health issues after my hair transplant ,nobody contacted me or wants to take responsibility, instead been told they never have a problem for the past 25 years this is th answer I got so disappointed, value of my life did not matter at the clinic

I had my hair transplant here in September 2024 and the whole experience was outstanding. Cemre made me feel comfortable from the start and really took care of me every step of the way. His customer service is on another level and the results speak for themselves. Couldn’t be happier and would recommend them to anyone considering it!

From the outset the communication has been good, and despite a slight delay in the booking confirmation email, everything was handled professionally by their team.

They run a well oiled operation which gives you confidence when you enter the hospital. My interpretor was a Lithuanian lady who made me feel really comfortable and put my mind at ease sensing I was a little nervous on the morning of my operation whilst giving my blood samples. She had a great personality for the job and made the experience so much better.

The hospital is modern, clean, and professionally managed. You can tell the owner has thought about all the details. They have plenty of staff assisting patients with all their needs.

One minor negative point was my hotel was not 5 star as agreed, but it was a clean and comfortable 4 star hotel. If this was mentioned during the pricing I would have been fine with it, but I must admit I was disappointed on on the morning of my surgery when we picked up other patients heading to Esteworld at the nicer Crown Plaza which is a 5 star hotel.

The treatment couldn't have gone better and the consultant took on board my comments about the finished look. The guys and lady who carried out the procedure were excellent and worked tirelessly for over 10 hours on my head. They must have been exhausted at the end of the day transplanting almost 5000 grafts. The anesthetic applied through the vein makes the process painless, and I was surprised at how comfortable I was during the procedure. When it wore off the anesthetist topped it up again which gave me a couple more hours of painless extraction.

All in all I am delighted with the service received and will return in a year or so to top up the back. Im pretty bald, so they didn't have much to work with😂, but im really happy with the results from the 5000 grafts transplanted, the price, and professional service.

I will be recommending Esteworld to my friends who are interested in following me to Turkey for a hair transplant, and I'll be back in a year or so to top up the back. Great value for money. 5 Stars.

Good clinic with alot of good workers! One of the best hair transplant clinics in Istanbul!

I'm a control freak. So it was very important to me, especially because the surgery is in a distant country, that everything is organized in advance, and I know exactly who is going to pick me up, which hotel I'm going to stay in, and how the transfers will be organized, who I will be meeting when I will meet that that person.
What made my experience outstanding is that this was all in place. As I landed, I got a message from my contact telling me which exit to go to, because honestly, it Istanbul Airport is huge with many exits. When I went to the exit, he was waiting for me, we went to the comfortable transport van. He took me to the hotel right away where they were already waiting for me. He took care of the check-in process in the hotel as well.
The next day, when I had to go to the hospital, the transfer picked me up again in the agree time. They took me to the hospital where my my translator, Krisztina was already waiting for me. She also took care of everything. She speaks Turkish perfectly, Hungarian, and English.
I always knew what was going to happen next, and this gave me a great deal of reassurance. This whole situation being operated in a different country, far away with a very different language, is not not a great situation to be in and with all these arrangements, I felt completely secure, completely comfortable and I was never on my own.
Everyone told me if I have any question or any request, just contact them. Krisztina, the translator helped me a great deal. I had some stupid questions, even some small emergencies, I could always reach out to her and she made sure to get me the response if she didn't have it already.
These things were very important to me and they play a big role of making my stay here and my experience extraordinary. The surgery itself was also very smooth. I knew what was going to happen. I had a chance to meet my doctor online and in person before the surgery. He explained everything, I had plenty of time to to ask all my questions and I did. And he never made me feel that I was bothering him or that he was in a hurry that's honestly is the case with many doctors in my country.
All together, it was a very friendly and a very good hospitality that I experienced at Esteworld, with extremely helpful staff and top skilled doctors and nurses, and very professional and helpful attitude from everybody involved.

My Hair Transplant Journey with Esteworld Istanbul – FUE & DHI

After considering a hair transplant for quite some time, I wasn’t sure where to begin — there’s so much information online, and choosing the right clinic felt like a daunting task. As the procedure became more popular, I noticed friends around me starting to have transplants, and one in particular really stood out due to the incredible transformation.

Curious, I reached out to him, congratulated him on the results, and asked for details. He spoke highly of his experience with Esteworld Istanbul and introduced me to Cemre, one of the clinic’s coordinators.

I contacted Cemre via WhatsApp — even though it was a Saturday — and within minutes he responded. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He offered to carry out a video consultation immediately, which I appreciated. During the call, he assessed my donor area and hairline, answered all my questions clearly, and explained the FUE & DHI techniques they would be using. He also provided a clear, competitive price that included VIP airport transfers and a 3-night stay in a 5-star hotel.

Once I paid a small deposit, I was assured that I could confirm my date closer to the time due to my unpredictable work schedule. When I was ready, Cemre quickly confirmed my preferred dates and arranged everything seamlessly.

As my travel date approached, another agent from Esteworld reached out to confirm my flight details so they could coordinate transfers. Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, I was picked up by a polite driver in a luxury Mercedes minibus, offered water, and taken to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which was clean, modern, and very comfortable.

I took a day to relax and explore the area before my procedure. The next morning at 7 AM, I was collected and taken to Esteworld HQ. The clinic was spotless and welcoming. I was greeted by a friendly team, guided through paperwork in perfect English, and had my blood tests completed efficiently.

I then met with the medical team and doctor to discuss my goals and hairline design. They were thorough and asked for my input, making sure I was happy before proceeding. Once we finalised the plan, my head was shaved, and the process began.

The clinic environment felt like a hybrid between a modern treatment room and an operating theatre — sterile but calming. The team walked me through the tools and techniques being used, which helped put my mind at ease. After IV anaesthesia was administered, I felt no pain and drifted off comfortably. Music played in the background (a playlist picked just for me), adding to the relaxing atmosphere.

The first part of the procedure involved extracting 5,300 grafts from the back and sides of my head, and under the chin. This lasted around 4 hours. Afterward, I was served a fresh lunch and given time to rest.

The second part of the procedure was the implantation, and again I was given IV anaesthesia and adjusted as needed for comfort. The team was attentive, especially when I began to feel discomfort — they quickly responded with pain relief and breaks.

By around 6 PM, the procedure was complete. I was cleaned up, bandaged, and given aftercare instructions along with medications and a sleeping aid. A driver collected me and returned me to the hotel, where I had a nice meal and got some well-deserved rest.

The following day I had a late morning pick-up and was taken back to the clinic for my first wash and final check-up. Everything looked great, and the team ensured I was comfortable and ready for my flight home. I was then driven back to the airport to catch my flight to the UK.

Even after returning home, the communication has remained excellent. The team continues to check in, answer questions, and provide advice for ongoing care and recovery.

Overall, I can genuinely say I had a fantastic experience with Esteworld.

Special thanks to Cemre, who was there from start to finish, and to the kind staff during the procedure — especially one lovely nurse who chatted with me and sang along to Adele as the transplant was taking place. She had great music taste and made the experience feel far less clinical and much more personal.

It was a nice touch the medical director coming in near the end of my procedure to ask if I needed anything and to wish me all the best before he headed home for the evening!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Esteworld to anyone considering a hair transplant with my experience to date.

The final verdict will be in 10-12 months time when my hair grows in fully, looking forward to hopefully excellent results!

Disappointing Experience with Esterworld – Poor Results and Communication

I had a hair transplant done at Esterworld, but unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. After a year and a half, there is still barely any noticeable difference between the before and after results. Concerned about this, I consulted with two other hair transplant clinics. Sadly, I was informed by both that far fewer grafts were transplanted than what Esterworld had originally promised.

Post-surgery, communication with Esterworld was also very frustrating. I was constantly in touch with different people, which caused confusion and lack of clear follow-up. This entire process has cost me a lot of money, time, and emotional energy.

What makes it even more upsetting is that I ended up choosing Esterworld through a recommendation from acquaintances, which makes this whole situation feel even more unfortunate. I’m sharing this review in hopes of warning others — please make sure to do thorough research and choose a truly reliable clinic.

I chose Esteworld Clinic based on promises made during my virtual consultation. I was assured of three key things:
1. A painless procedure
2. A full hair transplant covering my entire scalp, including the crown
3. A process that would not harm the donor area (back of the head)
Unfortunately, my actual experience was far from what was promised.
Upon arrival, the doctor informed me they would not be working on my entire head, specifically refusing to treat the crown area—contradicting what was clearly discussed in my initial consultation.
The procedure itself was traumatizing. While harvesting hair from the donor area, I experienced intense, unbearable pain. I repeatedly screamed for them to stop and pleaded for my translator to be brought in. Despite this, they continued aggressively harvesting hair without pause, pushing and twisting my head down. It took 20 minutes before my translator was allowed into the room. The pain was excruciating—like having a sharp razor used repeatedly on inflamed skin.
Following this ordeal, I spoke to three different staff members at the clinic—two of them in person. One wrote an internal report, and another asked me to document everything in detail, which I did. I was told my complaint was shared word-for-word with Dr. Burak, the clinic manager.
What was their response?
Nothing more than an apology and some sympathetic words. No compensation, no corrective treatment, no sincere attempt to make things right.
I documented every interaction with the clinic. In my final message before contacting my credit card provider to dispute the charge, I politely requested a refund of my deposit as a token of goodwill. I received no reply.
I was promised a painless experience—this was a key reason I chose Esteworld. Instead, I was told to fast for 8 hours beforehand (for anesthesia), subjected to over-harvesting, suffered physical pain, and had my vacation ruined. It became clear to me that Esteworld operates more like a commercial enterprise than a medical facility. Despite their appearance and marketing, they do not provide the level of care one expects from a reputable clinic.
