In all honesty, this is one of the best companies I have come in contact with. Staff are committed to discharging their duties with professionalism. I must say that the services they rendered to me was top-notch. The survey report was presented in a very simple language devoid of technical jargons. Discussing the report with the surveyor who signed off the document was another wonderful experience. It also came as quickly as I wanted it. I will always recommend e-surv to anyone who needs their services.

I had a fantastic experience with e.surv Chartered Surveyors and their HomePlus service. From start to finish, the whole process was professional, efficient, and very well organised.

The survey was thorough and clearly presented, giving us a much better understanding of the property and providing valuable information and reassurance during such an important purchase. The report was detailed but easy to understand, highlighting the key areas we needed to be aware of without making things unnecessarily complicated.

Communication was excellent throughout, and I really appreciated how smoothly and promptly everything was handled. Buying a home can be stressful, so having a reliable and professional surveyor makes a huge difference.

Survey was done on the date planned. Report was made available to me on the same day. Surveyor called me the following day to answer my questions and discuss the findings.

e.surv valued our 3-bedroom apartment at £650,000.

We genuinely cannot understand how they arrived at this figure.

For some very simple comparisons in the same development:

• Our apartment was bought for £730,000 only 2 years ago.
• Our next-door neighbour is currently selling a 2-bedroom apartment for £685,000, with a smaller terrace.
• A friend recently bought a 3-bedroom apartment in the same development for over £800,000, despite having no terrace.
• We have 3 bedrooms and a larger terrace.

And e.surv’s valuation? £650,000.

So apparently our 3-bedroom apartment is worth £35,000 less than the 2-bedroom apartment next door, and around £150,000 less than another 3-bedroom apartment in the same development.

This isn’t a minor difference. It’s a huge discrepancy, and it has a direct impact on our mortgage and finances.

We understand that valuations can differ from asking prices. That’s not the issue. The issue is how a professional surveyor can arrive at £650k when the actual evidence from comparable properties in the same development points so clearly in a different direction.

We are extremely disappointed and, frankly, have very little confidence in this valuation.

I would not recommend e.surv based on this experience.

It was very thorough and the comments felt relevant and appropriate to what I wanted out of the survey report. There was enough context that I was able to pass along to my legal advisor for clarification.

Good communication so far. Thought survey was thorough and laid out in an easy to evaluate layout. Awaiting follow up from surveyor in next day or two.

My experience was positive, really easy booking process, competitive prices & quick availability. My surveyor called before the appointment to check if I had any specific concerns about the property & after the appointment to provide a summary of the findings. The final report was sent to me same day & the Surveyor was available to discuss it further & ask any questions. Overall a really positive experience & I would recommend e.surv to others.

I had the service arranged through my bank (Lloyds). It was very quick to set up and the survey happened within a few working days of speaking to the bank.

The communication with my surveyor was very good too, receiving contacts before the survey and afterwards to discuss the main points from the report. Overall I thought it was a very good service. Thank you!
