I've been with EthicHub for more than 1 year. Invested in couple of projects.
I liked the idea to support farmers to produce coffee.
Payments for my investments were on time. The only problem is actual return rate. Advertised is 8% - actual - 2 - 4%/. Not clear why returns are so low.
I would like to see more realistic return rates.
I left the platform.
So far so good .. there are a few steps to convert to ethix crypto . Personally I use and found the project through Valora wallet . It allows you to convert celo across by entering uniswap to do the conversion . I recently started supporting that particular wallet as it seems to orientate towards making the world just a little bit better . Keep up the good work .
I have been with EthicHub for >2 years & have put in >USD25k into various investments. I have been making slightly over 8% per year which is very competitive with many funds while not being outrageously high. I am prepared to put in more money.
I have not been to South America personally to witness the ground operations but what i read indicates everything is on the up & up. Plus the bonus of knowing you are helping people instead of corporations makes investing here more worthwhile.
The process of investing is complicated due to the use of cryptocurrency. I have to use a multi step process to get funds from my bank to xDai for it to be usable. For this i have sent email to their helpdesk multiple times & they have helped me through the process step by step (thanks guys!). Nonetheless, it would be daunting for many people.
As far i have not withdrew any money yet as i am rolling back the returns into more projects. Am planning (hoping? praying?) this works well for the next decade ore two so i can continue to build my retirement fund.
I have recommended this to many people however many are turned off by (1) this being based in South American (2) uses cryptocurrency.
Great idea, nice platform and perfect execution. The problem with the world is the poor are designed to stay poor. Impossible to compete with the corporations and banks have no interest.
EthicHub is one of those projects you thought couldn't be possible. One where everyone benefits and all for a good cause of helping smallholder unbanked farmers.
As a user, you got two options: you can invest in the farmers' projects and receive a 8% return or buy the Ethix token which create collateral to the capital lended in the first option. When buying Ethix, your returns are greater. But personally, I did both as both have a positive impact and I want nothing more from my investment and nothing less.
The team is great, I came to visit them in Madrid at their new cafeteria "CryptoCafe" in Calle Bastero 13. Really nice people and wow the coffee is bomb. Love being a part of this community. I wish more people knew about this project. For me, it's a GEM.
