Terrible sellers

Terrible sellers. I paid for a box of chicken breast files but got delivered a box of whole chicken. Emailed several times asking to refund price difference. No response. Whole chickens are like rubber -- impossible to eat.

Incorrect order/poor customer service

I ordered three items. When they arrived one item was incorrect. I contacted Eurofoods and told them they’d sent me an incorrect item and could I have my original order. They said they didnt have it in stock so would refund me. I asked if they had a different size of the product I wanted as it was an Easter present. They told me to look online. I contacted them to try and do an exchange or pay directly as I was happy to do a reorder but stated I didn’t think it was fair that I should have to pay $23 again for shipping for an error they made. Now they are not responding. I have contacted them three times. Pretty disappointing customer service.

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service - Avoid Eurofoods

We have been loyal customers of Eurofoods for many years, as a small business in Scotland, regularly placing large orders every week. However, after a recent complaint about the poor quality of onions, we received no response or action from them. The service, especially from an employee named Bulbul, was absolutely appalling. His behavior towards us was disgusting, showing a complete lack of respect and professionalism.

We trusted Eurofoods to provide us with quality products, but they only seem to care about taking your money, not the customers they serve. Their lack of concern for our issues has forced us to change to a local supplier. We will NEVER be using Eurofoods again and strongly advise others to beware of their terrible service and poor quality products.

Stay away if you care about your business!

Scammers scammed us alot of money and…

Scammers scammed us alot of money and it's stories after stories... Made a transaction and immediately I confirmed the transaction he told me the money is blocked . Then that's when the games started. Guys be aware these are conmens. Don't dare do business with them . To say Im following up my money from a scammer sounds really stupid from me , since that's their intention. If you ever find yourself here , I sent you lots goods hugs in advance .

Reliable and Great Prices

I was alarmed by the reviews below, but they actually sound like they havent used the service.

I bought via the website for my small take away, and my goods were delivered on time. An easier way for me to order halal stock for my take away vs the old school call method. Easy to re-order and manage. Would recommend to any small business looking to take the faff out of dealing with sales reps.

Lucky there isn’t a 0 Star.

I would give EuroFoods negative infinity stars if I could. The management is nothing short of abysmal - arrogant, dismissive and downright incompetent. Their attitude towards small businesses is atrocious - they seem to relish bullying and intimidating those who dare to compete with them.

But perhaps the worst aspect of EuroFoods is the company's bigoted ego. They seem to think they're the only game in town, with an air of superiority that is not only unjustified, but downright offensive. Their arrogance is not only unwarranted, but downright unprofessional.

And to top it all off, they have the audacity to try and take authority over my business. Who do they think they are? It's clear that EuroFoods doesn't understand the concept of fair competition, and has no respect for others in the industry.

I wouldn't recommend EuroFoods to anyone - small businesses and entrepreneurs, beware! This is a company that only cares about itself and its own bottom line, with no regard for the hard-working small business owners trying to make a living. Stay far, far away from EuroFoods.

A new and frightening issue in the food chain.

Could the buying strategies of companies such as these be the cause of the current Coronavirus?

The meat purchased and processed by these companies is from countries where stringent tests are not carried out and as the source of the Coronavirus is believed to be a "wet market" in Wuhan which sells both dead and live animals including fish and birds, who is to say the meat they buy do not carry the same risks?

A zoonosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria, viruses, or parasites that spread from non-human animals (usually vertebrates) to humans

Such markets pose a heightened risk of viruses jumping from animals to humans because hygiene standards are difficult to maintain if live animals are being kept and butchered on-site. Typically, they are also densely packed which makes the risk of disease leap tenfold.

Companies such as these do not care about human health and the end consumer. They buy cheap meat to maximise profits. A visit to one of these processing plants will put you off eating their products for life.

The animal source of the latest outbreak has not yet been identified, but the original host is thought to be bats. Bats were not sold at the Wuhan market but may have infected live chickens or other animals sold there.

Bats are host to a wide range of zoonotic viruses including Ebola, HIV and rabies.

Major modern diseases such as Ebola virus disease and salmonellosis are zoonoses. HIV was a zoonotic disease transmitted to humans in the early part of the 20th century, though it has now mutated to a separate human-only disease. Most strains of influenza that infect humans are human diseases, although many strains of bird flu and swine flu are zoonoses; these viruses occasionally recombine with human strains of the flu and can cause pandemics such as the 1918 Spanish flu or the 2009 swine flu.

A criminal investigation, Operation “Carne Fraca,” in Brazil revealed alleged bribery of food inspectors in beef and poultry plants to allow the sale of products unfit to eat. Most of the chicken used in factories is from Brazil.
Twenty-six officials were prosecuted. Six have been acquitted of all charges. Those six have resumed official tasks that do not include EU certification.

Read up about the conditions in farms where these companies buy meat from and make your own mind up.

On average, this chicken is frozen and thawed at least seven times before consumption and is chlorine-washed which is banned in the UK. It is no coincidence this has happened, and it is only the tip of the iceberg.
