I rented a car from Europcar at Guayaquil, Ecuador on the 26th of March, 2022. The same day the car brokedown (engine failed) and I reported it right away to Europcar. Because of this failure I had to walk for 3 hours to get to the closest village.
The Next day I tried to pick up a replacement car in another location and was promised to have it the next day. The next day i was told that I can't have a new car because the original needs to be inspected. I requested a full refund but instead I see that I was charged twice. Scam under the European banner. Stay away!!!
