While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I don’t usually write reviews unless…

I don’t usually write reviews unless I’ve had a really bad experience but felt it was only right to acknowledge the exceptional service from Eventclip. I ordered some personalised clips on Saturday afternoon in honour of someone close who I’d just lost with a little note saying I was hoping to be able to select premium delivery (which isn’t an option) as wanted to use them for Friday as was travelling down for the London Marathon. By Sunday afternoon I’d received confirmation that they had been produced and were on there way and they arrived in the post on Tuesday. Thank you Eventclips

Avoid & check your receipt

So I ordered a set of clips and paid by paypal this company then charged me 6% on top to use my debit card which is illegal so those who paid by PayPal I suggest you look at your receipt, but its then put through PayPal as tax. Tax on top of the 20% of UK tax. so I contacted Mike@ eventclip & PayPal and asked why. Paypal told me its against the law and rules of PayPal. He said its perfectly ok if we tell you his accountant had said so. Then I get 2 to 3 emails, 2 to 3 calls and 2-3 text messages in space of 20 minutes saying I hope I'm happy with the trouble over 36p and that he hopes I will sleep ok. He claims he's a small business why would I do that? After over a million sales I don't think your that small. Disgusting behaviour by a business man ripping off his customers do doubt for thousands. Oh like I said I'll sleep like a baby, carry this harassment on and I'll see trading standards and the police. Be lucky its just paypal involved. It doesn't matter about the 36p its about ripping off your own customers and breaking the law!
