It was our first time visiting Northcroft Lido and we all had an absolutely fantastic time. The pool is lovely, its clean and well maintained. The slides were so much fun! And even though it was fully booked it somehow didn't feel as crowded as I expected. We will most certainly be back, such a lovely place to spend a few hours on a sunny day.

Made very welcome by reception staff when I popped in, the lady took her time to show me around the facilities. I then took an over 50s aerobics class and once again I was so impressed with how welcoming and patient the teacher was. Gym facilities also fresh and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Great place!

So far a good experience joining Northcroft gym. Blake the sales manager was attentive, polite, chatty and friendly. The gym is in very good condition since the refurbishment. Staff seem friendly and remember who you are. Overall a really top experience. Membership is affordable and allows me to use other gyms in Berkshire if I need to. Also the app thats included is very detailed and super helpful for booking and keeping track.

Great facilities with a smart new look. The gym is particularly impressive now with smart new kit and everything has been decorated and updated. Good booking and access system using QR Codes. Just don't get caught out, as I was, by forgetting you need a padlock for the lockers.

Such a fun enjoyable time for the kids and parents alike!! Very reasonable priced, friendly staff and very clean facilities, we were impressed!

This place is a disgrace, only ever one person on reception, all kids who don't have a clue, never answer phones, no customer service and your stupid app never works properly
£10 to watch your child swim and stopping people from getting to their swim lessons on time because of your silly code thing which rarely works properly, shame on you!

Northcroft Leisure is a friendly welcoming gym/pool whatever your level.

Well.. I was going to leave a good review, until... this last monday. Leisure centre is trying to make as much money as possible at the cost of over booking people. This is regarding the outdoor lido. There was about 550 people there today, and they don't have capacity for this. You couldn't move at all in the pool. You couldn't stretch your arms without slapping anyone, let alone swim or play with the kids. The blue slides are okay, but the green one... it's ridiculous. You don't slide. You need to keep pushing yourself, you stop in the middle of it. Also, the splash area for some reason keeps stopping every 5 minutes. Kids are there playing and suddenly water gets shut off. What's the point? And really, it was too overwhelming with so many people in the pool. Horrible. Changing rooms were also dirty and outside changing facilities by the splash area are not fully working as 2 out of 3 doors ate broken and one of them hasn't got a handle on the inside, I almost got locked there. It takes more than 20min to get inside and they make you come out 5min before your session ends. Not impressed for the price for 3 hours. (Not really 3 hours after all).

Staff are very friendly, efficient & helpful, 98% of the time it is perfectly clean. pool is perfect for lane swimming or family sessions , plenty of changing cubicles of family size or singles, good locker space, showers nice and hot

I absolutely love Body Combat at Northcroft Leisure Centre Newbury - really hope they don't cancel it for good. Our class has been going for over 20 years & is very important to us all. I started doing it in my 40's - I'm 67 this year & still love it.🙏
