What an absolute shambles of a business. We are a small local business and enquired about arranging membership for some of our staff. The corporate membership requires 10 staff which unfortunately we do not have so we were told they werent quite sure how to do this and would have to try and raise and invoice to our business and get our staff up with normal accounts. I suggested maybe we could us the corporate portal but just not get the discount as we didnt have enough staff but havent received an answer to this. Anyway, it has been drama after drama. Firstly, when they did finally manage to raise and invoice, this was sent to our actual staff members! They then apologises and issued them to the company. I paid these well over a week ago but still our staffs accounts have not been activately. Emails go unanswered (email addresses provided on the website and invoice are not even active and emails just bounce back), the phone just rings and rings then says no one available. While I get that we are a small business, there are a lot of small businesses with under 10 staff who would wish to use the gym in Leighton Buzzard. Why tout for business if you are not set up to provide this.

I've been using this leisure centre for a while now, and I genuinely think it's great value for money. They offer a wide variety of fitness classes including Zumba and aqua aerobics, which I really enjoy. The best part? Classes are included with the membership! Just make sure to cancel in advance if you can’t make it — if you miss a booked class without notice, there’s a small fine. I’ve been fined twice myself 😅 but honestly, I think it’s fair. Since the classes are free with your membership, it's only right that people who can’t attend free up the space for others.
One of my favourite parts is the small warm swimming pool – perfect for going with the kids, but I also love going alone because the water is so relaxing. There’s also a bigger pool which I was worried about at first because some reviews said it was cold — but believe me, it’s not. I really can’t stand cold water, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s genuinely nice to swim in!
Some of the facilities may feel a little outdated, but they’re still absolutely fine for what you pay. Plus, a brand-new centre is being built soon, which is exciting (although I’ll miss having this one so close to home – it’s super convenient for me!).
The staff are genuinely fantastic. Skye always goes above and beyond, and in the gym Kane and Katie are super helpful and approachable. I’m terrible with names, but I’ve had lovely interactions with everyone. The reception ladies are always friendly and welcoming.
There’s also a small café area, which is great for a post-workout coffee or snack.
They offer discounts for Blue Light card holders, students (I believe), and also have a referral scheme – so definitely worth asking about those if you’re thinking of joining.
All in all, this is a great community leisure centre – welcoming, affordable, and packed with options. I highly recommend it!

However my complaint is about cleanliness. We come first thing on a Sunday and the floors around the small pool have clearly not been cleaned. There is hair and dirty footprints everywhere. I know the intention is to knock the whole building down eventually, but that doesn’t mean it should stop being cleaned in the interim!

Tiddenfoot leisure centre - The worst leisure centre I have ever had the displeasure of stepping in. No staff working Costa, no staff in the gym (pretty sure that's illegal), one person on reception, 'lifeguards' oblivious to everything going on around them. I thought with Everyone Active taking over it would have been somewhat less miserable but I was wrong. It could in fact be worse!? The facilities are a shambles and don't get me started on the changing rooms. Disgraceful. Burn the place down and start from scratch.
