I have recently completed a sale and purchase with Evesham Marina and my point of contact was Marc who delivered on every promise and in a very timely manner. All of my dealings with Marc and the staff at Evesham was without fuss or drama - my new boat was prepared and handed over in lovely condition and I even received help moving my effects from my old boat onto the new.
Brokerage fees were very fair and I was kept informed at all times during the transaction on the progress of the sale - Marc also achieved a very good sale price ( more than I was expecting ) To summarise I would recommend Evesham Marina to any boaters on the Avon whatever there boating needs be it chandlery/maintenance/moorings or sales - a thoroughly decent company with helpful and knowledgeable staff.

2 stars because the facilities were clean and the engineer did a good job. But beware, I purchased a boat from them that was advertised as having a 38hp engine, which I questioned and they quietly changed the advertising to 35hp which I've since discovered to be only 30hp. Also Marc told me the inverter worked and it doesn't and that the survey advised work on the boat would be done quickly but took 2 months and I left before it was complete because otherwise I could have been stuck on the river paying their mooring fees all winter. They charged £1.70/lt for diesel and I've since been paying between 98p and £1.34/lt elsewhere.

Over the last few months I have had a lot of aggro with my mobile phone supplier, my broadband supplier and with a national opticians business. All big companies trying to make a profit and not paying enough attention to customer service. It has been a refreshing and heartening experience to stumble across Evesham Marina when I had problems with my diesel heater. From what I could see they are not big company but from my experience they are big in customer service. They have that happy knack of being informal and friendly yet still professional in their dealings with customers. I have no hesitation in recommending them or their services.
