Rebranded Themselfs & Deleting Negative Reviews So They Can Keep Scamming

Beware of this company. They've rebranded are are actually Evolution Warenties
They currently owe me £980 for an AdBlue repair on my Volvo V90, a claim they approved and I invoiced back in February.

I’ve since received an email confirming they’ve gone into administration, and judging by other reviews, I’m far from the only one left out of pocket.

The fact they appear to be deleting negative reviews & setting up another company to avoid damaging their reputation just shows a complete lack of accountability.

Dealers and consumers, even employees of 'Evolution World Group' stay well away. This company is a 'rebrand' of 'Evolution Warranties' a company we used for years and then suddenly stopped paying out on claims, customer service was non existent and all we kept being told by Rob Davies was that it was because they grew too quick. We paid our last bill for nearly £4000 and a couple of days later our account manager called us to tell us the companies gone bust but to join there new company 'Evolution World Group'. Rob used to reassure us they're not going into liquidation to keep us paying while it comes to light he had already taken a step back from the company. Just take your business elsewhere, NOT WORTH THE RISK!!!

REBRAND FROM EVOLUTION WARRANTIES

REBRAND FROM EVOLUTION WARRANTIES

Following the final response to my complaint, I was advised by Daniel Goss (Manager) that my warranty payment was scheduled for 11 March 2026.

It is now the 14 March 2026 and surprisingly I have still not received any payments from Evolution Warranties.

I would like to note that my invoice was submitted on 9 January 2026, a total of 64 days ago.

How it takes a company over 64 days to do something as simple as making a payment I do not know.

Companies house show that 6 directors have been terminated and Evolution Warranties has changed its company name Clear Cover Warranties which is already an established company who has made a post about this

Evolution Warranties Limited has also been subject to a Wind-Up Petition submitted by HMRC. These are publicly known details available to view on Caseboard ( Case Number - CR-2026-001496.)

You have also removed your google profile, I presume to hide the hundreds of 1 star reviews so you are able to keep taking people’s money without providing a service

I have since emailed asking why my claim as still not been paid despite being told it would be on 11 March but no response which I can’t say I’m surprised.

I logged an investigation with trading standards a few weeks ago, they requested my emails to Evolution Warranties including policy booklet, contract agreement and requested I let them know if Evolution Warranties failed to my claim payment which I have done so.

I have now submitted a letter before action to Evolution Warranties, if payment if not made within 7 days I will be issuing proceedings via HM Courts and Tribunals Service.

Once again Evolution warranties, you have failed.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam, misleading customers by starting a claim without informing me that a claim had started, then declining my claim stating the claim period (that they didn’t inform me had started) had expired. Don’t touch them with a barge pole, would give zero stars if I could.

Since my original review (evolution warranties)

Since my original review, I’ve noticed that Evolution Warranties now appears to be operating under the name “Evolution World Group.”

Because of this change, I think it’s important to share my full experience of what the company was / is, and what customers can realistically expect—particularly around the claims payment process.

Initial Experience (Positive)

To be fair and balanced:
The claims process itself was excellent
Communication during claim assessment was clear, professional, and responsive
The team were friendly and helpful
I’ve used the service more than once, though only proceeded with one repair
One issue turned out to be wear and tear (brake caliper), which was correctly not covered
On the claim I did proceed with, I was genuinely impressed.
If the process had ended there, this would have been a 4–5 star review.

The Problem – Payment Delay
However, the experience changed significantly after approval.
Claim approved: 15 October 2025
Now: 18 March 2026
Time elapsed:
~125 total days
~108 working days (including Christmas period adjustments)
The claim was passed to the financial team shortly after approval…
and since then, payment has simply not been made.

I have:
Followed up multiple times
Been told updates would be provided (they weren’t)

Submitted a formal complaint
Chased repeatedly via email (many unanswered)
Recent Developments
Around 3–4 weeks ago, I formally sent a Letter Before Action (LBA) stating that if payment was not made, I would begin legal proceedings.

I was promised a payment date of 18th March
I sent multiple emails beforehand to confirm this → no response

I even called on the day (18th)

I was told payments were made until 20:00.

The interaction felt dismissive

That date has now passed → no payment received
Current Position

At this stage:
I feel I have been mis-sold the product
I am out of pocket twice:
The cost of the warranty
The cost of the repair the warranty was meant to cover
I genuinely cannot see any option now other than to proceed with legal action.
Concerns for Other Customers
I was surprised to see many recent 5-star reviews on the original companies trust pilot and green this refreshed is too get away from bad press.

The positive reviews seem, mainly appear to focus primarily on the recovery/breakdown aspect, which I haven’t needed to use.

However, based on my experience with claims payment, I would strongly advise caution.

Given:
The delays
The lack of communication
Similar reviews describing the same issues
…it raises a serious concern:
Is this a company struggling financially and relying on new customers to fund previous liabilities?

I obviously cannot confirm that—but based on my experience, it’s a concern worth highlighting.

Final Thoughts
If payments were made within a reasonable timeframe (e.g. 30–60 days), this would be a solid product.
Instead, after:
Over 100+ working days waiting
A missed promised payment date
Repeated ignored communications
…I have no confidence in the claims payout process.
Conclusion
I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
If you are considering purchasing a warranty through Evolution Warranties / Evolution World Group, I would strongly suggest:
Carefully reviewing recent claims-payment feedback
Considering whether you are prepared to pursue legal action to recover funds if needed
