Absolutely vile company

Absolutely vile company. Was fined £100 for multiple reasons, it seemed to change everytime. First reason was failing to purchase a ticket then it was becuase we didn’t pay within the 5 minutes (which wasn’t clearly stated) then it was becuase we hadn’t sent a text properly. Arrived at their car park in Darlington to go to the theatre, and their machine wasn’t working, I used the link and QR code which both took me to a website that said it would provide a code and I never got the code until 4 days later. Meanwhile my mum tried phoning the helpline, took her several tries to get through to someone to then be passed onto a different number. They took her card details and took £1.25 from her account instantly (appears to be confirmation to us) and we never had control over how much they took. They said to send a text confirming the registration number which we did, to both phone numbers she had spoken to. I appealed to excel and to IAP who have both denied my appeals. Thorough evidence was given of the payment coming out, the multiple calls, the texts, the receipt of codes 4 days later. To be told that the online company they use is an external company and not their problem, and that I am responsible for not receiving confirmation even though they took the money out. Better yet parking is £1 per hour after 6pm for theatre users which we were. Vile scammers, some pompous prick sitting making millions off innocent people. It should be stopped

This company will do anything to make money

Absolute robbing B$%***S! My husband came to collect me from my brother's second floor flat in Toton Nottingham.I shouted down to him to help me carry heavy bags down the stairwell. This took less than 3 minutes but in that time an officer managed to slap a ticket on our windscreen and disappear into the night! Was it a slow day and they were lying in wait to make target? They must have seen the three us as my brother came downstairs as well and the main door to the block was open.
We appealed and were unsuccessful. We are furious. When we stay for a social visit we always display a parking permit and on numerous occasions have collected my brother to take him to EMA and helped him with luggage.

Disgraceful

Before I give any context : If I could provide zero rating I would! My experience with this morally bankrupt organisation was at Darlington Feetams carpark.
I arrived at 19:45 to stop the night at the adjoining Premier Inn, thinking I would register the vehicle in reception, as is the process with some hotels. I went and checked in to be told that I needed to pay for parking. So I went back to the car park to attempt to pay for the overnight parking .The machine was not contactless so despite the horrendous signal issues I managed to get online and put my details in to which it said "payment method currently unavailable. I then phoned the number provided on the machine and it told me the same thing again. I had only one option to pay and that was with cash, of which I did not have the £9.00 fee. I had to walk into Darlington to find a cash machine and then to shop to ask for change.
I arrived back the machine to pay the £9.00 at 20:49

On the 17th January I received a charge of £100 for failure to to purchase the parking tariff within the time allowed. It also stated if I paid before the 2nd January it would be reduced to £60.00
I appealed the change, sending all the evidence, thinking that I had done everything possible to pay the tariff as quickly as I physically could after my arrival.... but guess what! I was unsuccessful, They have stated that it can be passed to a debt company to pay the £100 fine and a £70 admin fee for a tariff that I actually paid !
This is unjustifiable in my opinion and I feel aggrieved. This is exploitation of someone who has done the right thing!
It's difficult to ask everyone to avoid at all costs but the stress, anxiety and time that I have had to spend and put up with dealing with them makes me question if I would have been better off not paying the tariff in the first place, at least I would have justification for the penalty

Absolutely appalled

Absolutely appalled! My sister who is disabled broke down in their car park I Isleworth. And put a note on her car explaining that her automatic car had broken down and left it to phone her son to tow her. A Parking Fine was put on her windscreen ! Daylight robbery ! They also fined her for driving in the same car park to use the cash machine another time and the Cash machine wasn’t working so she drove out to go elsewhere and returned some time later to do some shopping in Asda, they then sent a parking ticket fining her for parking for five hours! Their camera works on the way in but not on the way out it seems otherwise they would have seen her leave the car park earlier on. Avoid their car parks like the plague. In this case preying on a vulnerable person by sending letters adding more fees to the original total . How they get away with it I will never know

Scumbags. Avoid at all costs

Took my partner and two young children to the cinema. Parked up and tried to pay at Darlington feetams carpark.
Despite the horrendous signal issues I managed to get online, put my details in to which it said "payment method currently unavailable. I then phoned the number provided and it told me the same thing again.

So I then moved my car to another carpark across the street.

Two weeks later I received a charge of £100 which I appealed and was unsuccessful, it was passed to a debt company who say I owe £170 now but won't let me set up an affordable payment plan. So are threatening court action despite me also sending all the evidence to them as well.

Just a scam to rob money from people. Absolute joke and would avoid at all costs. The amount of people having problems up and down the country with these people speaks volumes. Just avoid them at all costs it's not worth it. Actually debating a counter claim for causing me stress in an already stressful time.

Excel parking

Excel parking - 21st century highway men!! A diabolical shady outfit, how they are still allowed to scam people and operate is shocking! PLEASE Avoid this car park at all costs! Machines were all out of order and date showing 1998. (It was December 2024.) I took photographs of the machines as they were all out of order. Tried to pay by the QR code but their crap website would not work and was not responding. Their “helpline” wasn’t even working and was not in service. Even tried to use their reference number in the paybyphone app on my phone and they are not registered on there! Received a parking fine in the post (after the 14 days!) I have appealed with photographic evidence and they have refused my appeal. If only we could give zero stars.

DO NOT PARK IN THE CAR PARKING SPACES…

DO NOT PARK IN THE CAR PARKING SPACES THIS COMPANY MANAGES. They will ensure you have to pay a fine, no matter if you pay for your parking time, they'll find a reason so you have to pay their fine. They're corrupt and any company using them should be ashamed. They are targeting innocent people for their selfish, greedy gain.

Evil predatory company

You truly are a bunch of evil scam artists and you know exactly what you’ve done. You’ve back peddled on this awful policy because of public pressure but how many people have given in to your pressure tactics? I hope your company collapses because of this.
Your directors should be facing prosecution.

Avoid Iceland in Kingsbury

Avoid Iceland in Kingsbury
Iceland has subcontracted Excel parking services to manage carpark recently.
My Mum, 88-year-old, parked in a disabled bay with a displaying disable blue badge, shopped at Iceland, Kingsbury for 25 minutes and left without entering her car in Automated machines. She was unaware of the recent change in car park management, one has to enter the Car registration before shopping and collect a ticket.
She received a parking ticket and ask to pay £70 or discounted rate of £40 if paid within 2 weeks of the "experience date".
I appealed given the circumstance. Guess what, yes the appeal was rejected after the discounted rate time period was over. Given the hassle and distress that she was undergoing for this incident I paid the full amount £70 on 28/11/2024.
Now to add insult to injury, She has received a debt collector letter on 7/01/2025 asking her for £170 as unpaid parking charges.
What a disgrace!!! Even if Excel parking services has no sympathy for what people go through surely it has to be accountable for its actions.
I am awaiting the company response having informed them that we have paid the fine. I hope they have the courtesy to send a apology for unending distress they causing.

one star rating, they deserve zero star.
