Don't do business with these crooks

expandore electronics - singapore
I bought an extended Warranty online for which I usually received a certificate in the mail. I was charged USD $16.94 for "Freight and Insurance". No certificate arrived. When I enquired I was told the warranty was emailed to an old defunct email address. They re-emailed the warranty however they refused to refund the "Freight and Delivery" charge which they claimed could mean; - "Order processing fee - Freight charges - Insurance charges - Delivery Charges - Any other charges applied" !!!!!! I consider their actions to be creative accounting which could be seen as deceptive practice.

After several emails, a PayPal dispute and some online reports - they have now agreed to refund the $16.94.

No sign of a refund after 2 weeks. They have reneged on offer of refund.

S.O.B's still haven't refunded money!!! after 1 month.

Doing their profit from shipement and "Handling" fees

Ok, their prices seems to be good at first look, but you are going to be VERY surprised at cheackout. For a an item that cost abput USD$2000, they are charging:

$294 for shipment (!!!) What are shipping, a wild dolphin?
$26 for insurance (There is no insurance for $294??!)
$89 for "Handling fees" (???!#$) What handling? Calling DHL?!!

- This is more then $400 for shiment!
These guys are just showing "good" prices, but then takes a hundreds of dollars for shipment, insurance, handling, blah lbah blah...

Expandore can add one more line in their checkout: "$500 for you beeing an idiot for ordering from us". What a waste of time trying to order there.

Just look elsewhere. I have found another shop with similar prices, that charge you $139 for shipment, inc. everything. No other craps!
