No value added service

No value added service. Steal money from the account. The jobs being forwarded are either irrevelant to your skills and may be already available on other job boards. Will make it extremely difficult to un-subscribe from their service

Very good Site with Excellent Customer support

Whilst I did not find a job through Experteer, I must say that their service is very good (I would have rated it excellent if it would have brought me a tangible outcome) but especially at the moment of an issue between them and me their customer support was exquisite in form and content. You really know Companies, like people, at the time of problems and in that regard Experteer has been really Excellent !

This is scam

If you want to cancel your premium membership, you loose all your already paid remaining membership days. I feel kind of fooled by experteer. Any way, it doesn't matter as the provided jobs are mostly second hand and you will find them on trustworthy job networks as well. There in no added value to this page, keep away from paying them!

When my credit card was cancelled

When my credit card was cancelled. we received requests for payment. This was roughly 4 months ago. We agreed and mailed them for their bank and invoice details and informed them that we did not any longer want to use their services as a result of poor performance..These requests remained unanswered, but we kept receiving requests for payment, Again we asked for details. No reply. We then considered Experteer as an incompetent Company and deleted them frtom our system. When our credit card was re-activated 4 months of "service" were charged. After reading reviews we went straight to our account and cancelled our subscription, which was confirmed in a second. Experteer should have lined out their policies after our first request. The site is good, the performance bad.

In the first email from July 2019 you asked us how to fill-out your profile properly which we answered the following day, the second request was received in October regarding a payment and how this could be done. We also answered and explained how to follow-up with payments as your credit card payment had already failed. You did not reply to ask for more guidance, therefore we assumed that everthing was clear and the ticket was closed. We regret that you weren't happy with our customer support team therefore we kindly ask you to get back to us again and let us know, how we may help you better.

Thieves, non intuitive tool not native to Americans - your non subscription…

I also took your non subscription service because it was not a subscription and was charged again today. Please remove my charge now! False advertising!

Update: change my review to a Zero. Experteer will not cancel. Their response to me was their cancellation policy 'is prominently displayed' on our page. It was not. No $68. refund for me and now I am stuck with a tool that is non intuitive to American job hunters that I cannot even use. STAY AWAY FROM THIS

I would have given zero

I would have given zero if I could...they stole my money without me realising but long after..I'm still trying to cancel my membership which they refuse to do until I settle my overdue supposed membership payment which I have never authorised..plus zero help in job searching over all these moments of being a member (despite I did not even know I was)...

Terrible..will seek legal advice.

avoid like the plague - GDPR

Hard to delete your account.
Rubbish website.
Just jobs they have gained from other free websites.
Just trying to get you to sign up for some vapour ware.
This is a waste of time to use and at worst is just an attempt to gain money from you.
Avoid.
And per gdpr rules they must adhere to this but they don’t!!
“You must make it easy to opt out - for example by sending a ‘STOP’ text to a short number, or using an ‘unsubscribe’ link”.

Garbage

Garbage, Useless, save your Money! DO NOT given them payment information they make you jump through hoops to cancel, nearly impossible to figure out how to close account after they get there inept, useless claws in to you...RUN AWAY!!!!

Horrible

Horrible. Unclear information about billing. They threatened to go to collections over a change in my credit card (which was the only reason I even knew they had continued to bill me). Don't give them payment info EVER.

I signed up for a six-month membership…

I signed up for a six-month membership and they have continued to charge me through October for months later. I have tried to contact them with no success, so I had to go to the bank to file a dispute on the charges. I read in their reviews that you could contact them through their support site, but it was closed when I tried. They are a total scam, what business doesn't have a way to contact them? I am advising you not to get involved with them. My next step is to contact an attorney and the Better Business Bureau.

Regained my Trust back after the refund!!

After lots of emails back and forth the company refunded my money back which made me edit my review and have gained back some sort of trust in experteer.

1st Review
The most horrible and worse company on this planet I have ever come across. They don’t ask people to sign any contract at all and expect people to read the small written material to pull out money from people. They are really cheating people with nothing in return. I have not signed any contract with them at all but just 1 month subscription and they pulled out the euro 29.90 from my account without any invoice, any notification, any email. Please don’t waste your time with them. Or don’t even think of registering or even looking into their website. They will put out money from you thinking you have read the small written material from them. STAY AWAY!!! BEWARE!!! STOP!!!

Premium membership is expensive but I…

Premium membership is expensive but I don't see any additional value for such price. It is also so difficult to find the way how you can cancel this premium membership. So I payed 2 times 30 euro for nothing.

Beware

Beware! I found this service a complete sham. No value whatsoever when I was searching for a job - just a glossy website. When you join premium you sign a declaration that entitles them to roll over your membership. They do this without warning you and suddenly you're tied into another period of membership at a hefty fee. If I'd got any benefit from this website at all I may see it differently - but I didn't. They seem to take advantage of those looking for role. I'd have been better off just networking.

If you do not wish the contract to be prolonged and you know this from the start of the contract already, you may cancel it right away and make use of our service for the paid period. Then you make sure, that you do not need to worry about the auto-prolongation.

Poor value for money

Hugely disappointed with this company!
I was bombarded with emails promising me endless headhunter contacts and exclusive job vacancies if I signed up to the Premium Membership.
All I have got to date are emails from "CV specialists" who can improve my CV if I pay them a hundred quid or more.
The software for entering details is awfully basic and outdated and the job suggestions based on my CV are pretty hit and miss
As other people have written, also beware the automatic renewal of whatever period you have signed up for. If I sign up for a set period I expect the membership to end then unless I specifically opt in rather than for it to continue without my agreement. Also if I have to specifically cancel I do not expect to lose the (limited) benefits of premium membership until the "paid for" period is up.
My advice to anyone reading this is that there are a load of companies out there such as Totaljobs that supply a far better service, with better software and do it free of charge. Dear Experteer, I really would like a refund please!

I didn't even want to use this site

I didn't even want to use this site. I just wanted to explore the site, but I was forced into making an account, then when deleting your account is very small and in fine print. Never make users feel like they are forced to make an account. I feel like it's just a war for the website to gain people's information.

Don't waste your time with Experteer. All it does is recruit people to its own service, which adds no value, which then tryes locking you up by all means...

For them it is a great model: cash in, no service out.

As per Headhunters' opinions? I have asked at least 5 and they all say the same thing. This is not a serious company...

Threatening emails from Experteer

I had an account but I didn't bother updating my card after it expired, as I never use the service and I wanted my account to just lapse.

Then I get this email
"...in case of another payment default we cancel your premium membership prematurely. This does not affect our payment claim under the contract.
In addition, we reserve the right to transfer our claim to a collection agency. All further costs will be borne by you as well."

Threatening emails! For not paying an annual fee on a website subscription. Really? Just cancel the account guys, don't send me threatening emails. I chose not to pay for something I don't use.

Folks, these are the people you are dealing with. Do not trust.
