Potentially dangerous cars
I would recommend this car rental only because of helpful people who are just doing their job. Now, to why i highly DO NOT recommend this car rental is due to the following reasons:
1) we got a full insurance and were told "that this pretty much covers anything" - it does not cover windows or tires and wheels.
2) They did not have the document for crossing to Gerogia border ready as we requested the car and papers the same day. This is our fault, but they promised to send us the documents via email. We had to remind them at the border of Georgia to get the documents. We got them relatively fast after, but got a 2h delay due to that at the border.
3) MOST IMPORTANT: 0/5 star rating issue in my opinion:
We believe that we were given a damaged and potentially dangerous car - Why? The rims were flattened in multiple places. Now one could argue that we could have damaged them ourselves, but we belive that such damagewould put us into a dangerous situation and we would stopped driving immediately. When we reported the damage we had driven roughly 500-600km in Armenia to Georgia.
So how did this happen? - we found out about the issue in Georgia, when the tire pressure indicator turned on and we noticed a bubble. We immediately reported the issue and got instructions on what to do. We drove to the mechanics and just wanted to change the tires. While changing the tires, the mechanics and us (me and my wife) were very surpised to see flattened rims. The whole process of finding the correct tires and a service close by took us roughly 5 hours.
When returning the car we asked if cars are checked after every rent - they said "Yes they are".
I asked for a proof for these kind of check routines, but apparently this procedure "IS NOT DOCUMENTED" - according to one of their employees.
We also found out that one of the employees caused a huge damage on the side of the front wheel. It looks exactly as they had driven over a deep hole and probably broke the front right rim.
Letting you all know - that this kind of damage is invisible for any tourist who rents the car as you cannot see inside the rim.
4) We were stopped by the Armenian police total of 4 times in 2 days, since the car we drove had an open police ticket/penalty. Every time we lost ~20m talking with the police, them trying to figure out how to proceed. We did not get a ticket ourselves during those encounters as we were driving within speed limit and according to the law.
Additionally: when crossing the border, the border guard informed us that there is also an active ticket on the car by another driver in Georgia - Great!

Our loss: In general we spend roughly 220 euros changing 2 front tires (as they only sell two at the same time), fixed both front wheel rims which cost about 90 euros as the mechanic said it's dangerous to drive with those rims in the current condition, lost 2 hotels as we were not able to get to our destination - another 300 euros and had to rebook 2 new hotels which was roughly 250 euros. Fortunately the hotels we did not reach were reimbursed by our personal insurance.
Total loss of time behind border and fixing the car was 1 day time (or 8-10 hours of light time) as driving in the dark in a non highway is dangerous in Armenia/Gerogia due to potholes.
My summary is that they might rent you damaged cars without you knowing it. Through out the whole process both parties (me and the car rental company) were civil, except i was not happy about not receiving anything back from FULL insurance. Nevertheless we did not use any slurs or faul language.
I highly recommend any other international car rental companies as their insurance could cover tires and glass. Also they probably/hopefully check their cars periodically.
Additional if the company tries to say something bad about us: We received a speeding ticket (from a camera) in Tbilisi which we paid today immediately after receiving the receipt.
We posted this review not because we lost time and money, but to keep you all safe on the road. Thanks!

Insurance
It is true that full insurance does not include windows, tires, or wheels. This was explained in advance and confirmed by your signature on the agreement. According to the rules, in case of any damage, your responsibility is only to stop the vehicle and call us immediately, so that we can contact the insurance company and prepare the official protocol.
Border-crossing documents
You are correct that the documents were not ready the same day you requested the vehicle. This situation occurred because border control accepts only original notarized documents with a physical stamp; email copies are not valid. Please note that technically you could have been asked to return to Yerevan to collect them, but instead we arranged to send the documents to you, which avoided a longer delay.
Condition of the vehicle
We respectfully confirm that the rim damage occurred during your rental period. Often such issues cannot be noticed immediately until a warning light appears or a bubble forms on the tire. The distance from Yerevan to the Georgian border is around 120 km, and both Armenian and Georgian roads (especially in certain areas) can be challenging.
When you asked whether cars are checked after every rental — yes, they always are. However, written proof of these checks cannot be provided by our Georgian partner for an Armenian-registered vehicle, as it is outside their authority.
Police checks and tickets
In Armenia, traffic tickets are processed within about one to two months. Until the notice is officially delivered to the driver’s postal address, the case remains open. This does not affect the ability to drive the vehicle. During this time, if needed, the fine is temporarily charged to the company account, and once we confirm the driver was a tourist, responsibility is transferred to the driver. If the customer does not pay, the procedure continues with the authorities directly and does not affect the company or the car.
Tires and expenses
We understand you purchased two used tires at a cost of 220 EUR. Unfortunately, this was not a fair price, and you may have been overcharged. In addition, since we only required one replacement tire, we could not refund the second one, as we cannot accept old, used tires into our fleet. Later, both front tires were replaced with new ones, as the tire you purchased was already four years old.
Summary
Before renting a car, it is important to note that insurance does not cover tires or glass. Careful driving is the best way to avoid these risks. Regarding speeding fines — Armenian and Georgian camera systems operate differently: in Armenia, tickets are issued and delivered by post within weeks, while in Georgia they appear within 1–2 hours, which explains the difference in your experience.
We regret the difficulties you faced during your rental. At the same time, we hope you will analyze the situation objectively and understand the circumstances behind it.

Excellent car rental service in Yerevan. I easily and simply booked the car through the website and paid the advance payment. The contract was immediately sent to the post office for review. The car was brought on time and where I needed it. The car was clean and in good condition with a low mileage. All employees of this service are very pleasant and polite! I can safely advise this service if you need a car without pitfalls and problems!

The Best Rental Experience in Armenia
We hired a car from Express Car Rental for four days in Armenia. First of all, they gave us a free upgrade which is always nice! Secondly the car was new and clean and everything worked well. Dropping off the car was so easy too, with their own parking spot in the center of Yerevan, which is not common. Armenia is a country that is best explored by car, so many amazing places within a not too far distance. Renting a car is the way to go.
I have rented a car three times in Armenia, but I would definitely say this is the best and smoothest experience thus far. I would use them again for sure!

Great service and great cars. Hohvannes helped us select a car that fit our needs even though we had not booked it and only came the day before to talk about this. We rented a Kia Forte for 4 days which was perfect for our short road trip to explore Armenia. Great car in good state, no issues, automatic, therefore comfy and easy to drive through Armenian roads. We decided to opt for the extended insurance (7.000 AMD per day), which in hindsight is not absolutely necessary, especially if you're on a budget trip. Would definitely recommend this car rental!

Great local alternative to main international rental chains
Happily surprised to have found them as a very trusted car rental company for our 9-day trip to Armenia.
They met us at the airport to deliver the car/return the car. The delivery and the return were both very straightforward, no hassle like several main international rental chains and the price was very attractive for the Nissan Murano that we rented. The car was almost new, comfortable and very clean. At the return of the car, everything went well, and they gave back the whole deposit on the same day.

I was satisfied with the rented car, but I still haven't received the money for the almost full tank (equivalent to 15,000 AMD). This doesn't seem right to me. I haven't received any response from the company for compensation either! I have a second thing: when I picked up the car at the airport I found out that I had to pay an additional refundable deposit for damage insurance, but that was returned to me on the spot when I returned the car, although I wrote an email to QEEQ well in advance and they replied that I don't have to pay any additional fee or damage deposit. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the Express Car services.

Regarding the fuel, our policy, which is clearly stated in bold in the rental agreement you signed, requires the vehicle to be returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up. We do not offer refunds for excess fuel as per our standard procedure. Our rental agents are also not authorized to make exceptions to this policy. We make this very visible in the contract to avoid any confusion.
Concerning the refundable deposit, we understand your frustration with the initial information you received from QEEQ. However, the deposit you paid at the airport was for potential damage, not an additional insurance fee. This deposit was indeed refunded to you upon the safe return of the vehicle, as is our standard procedure.
In Armenia, our protocol for vehicle damage requires you to stop and contact us immediately so that we can initiate the insurance process with our insurance company. They will guide you through the necessary steps, including taking photos of the damage. If the vehicle is returned with damage without following this protocol, the insurance will not be applicable, and the cost of the damage will be deducted from your deposit. Our agent did inform you about this procedure when you picked up the car, and this information is also included in your rental agreement. Furthermore, we take a video of the vehicle's condition at the start of the rental as further proof that this information is provided. You can also find a copy of your signed contract in the email we sent you after you returned the car, where these conditions are clearly outlined.

Good experience but could have been better
I had booked a Kia Seltos with full insurance. However they gave Mazda CX 5 which wasn't bad but was dissappointed that I didn't get the exact car I wanted. The check in and check out was smooth. I wanted a 1 hour extension to the original time of check out however it was denied which was again disappointing since I was driving from Dilijan and had to wake up very early to be able to drop it back at the original drop off time
