waste of your time! the store is a complete scam!

placed an order for specific pair of glasses, they informed me that one last pair was found damaged and they advised me to look up for any other similar frames. I politely refused and asked for my refund however they were having none of it and sent me an email with attached pictures of other frames asking to look up and choose again, but this time the frames were from a completely different web page (Exclusiveeyes.co.uk)?! it must be another fake site they hold...
I inquired about the order full refund, unfortunately i did not receive an answer and i waited for a week and a half! This forced me to open a dispute on Paypal...Never ever i'll use this online store again...

edit: Just checked Exclusiveeyes.co.uk reviews- they are definitely linked together and both are rubbish. All of the 5 star reviews must be fake! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Appalling product, even worse customer service

What a joke of a company.

First pair of glasses broke in 3 days. Second pair arrived snapped in two. After numerous chasing for my money back after sending the glasses back I had to get Paypal to intervene and refund my money through their system.

Use Tesco opticians instead. Professional people, pay bit more but avoid these absolute amateurs at all costs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I ordered rimless glasses early May - after several calls to chase them and many promises that they were "on their way", around a month later they arrived on the Tuesday and promptly broke in half 3 days later! I rang their customer service team who informed me that the rimless glasses were prone to snapping (so why sell them) and the only way around it was to get toughened glass at an additional cost of £25.00 - I accepted this on the promise that I would get them delivered to me within a week, the customer service people being very friendly etc.
Surprise surprise they did not arrive and again, after many calls I was told "they have been dispatched with DPD couriers" and they would call them then call me back - 5 hours later I had to phone them as I had spoken to DPD couriers who knew nothing of my delivery as they did not have anything for me and at this time the friendly customer services became not so friendly!
I have now contacted Paypal regarding this as this seems to be my only way to get this resolved, thank goodness for Paypal!!!
I now have to wait to see if I get glasses or a refund, the outcome can take up to 10 days.
In a nutshell, BE WARNED... avoid Eyeexperts, they are not to be trusted and after paying the phone bills and extra for toughened glass, if I do get the glasses now, I may as well have gone to the high street as it would have been a lot cheaper.

Update… glasses arrived….one lense is toughened glass and the other is not! What a joke!!

Where are my glasses!

Promised delivery dates didn't happen.

Glasses returned by post office, because they tried to deliver late & I was away.

2 months on, no glasses ....

No Customer Care

I have been waiting FOUR months for my glasses. Firstly they fixed the lenses the wrong way round, left in right and right in left eye. Then they tried to blame the optometrist for incorrect eye test. I sent e-mail requsting compensation and they have totally ignored this and replied by saying that I will receive my glasses next week I have had promise after promise but to no avail. I would demand a full refund but it means I am starting from day one again. John Sheppard.
