The response and follow up to my request for service was terrific. My only challenge was the use of USPS for the return to Canada. Repair was excellent and my glasses look like new

EyeglassesDepot.com started in 2007 as a new department of our retail designer eyeglasses and sunglasses business. Quickly we realized that our customers not only shop for new prescription lenses and new frames, they also ask us the popular question "Can this be fixed?". Tired of telling customers NO, we decided to explore the idea of repair rather then replacement. In late 2007 we remodeled the second floor of our office and hired the staff that today runs our laboratory. Our two lab technicians have combined over 17 years of expert experience in the field of optometry, eyewear repair and eyewear sales.

DO NOT USE AT ANY EXPENSE!
WOW, Where do you start... First off, NOTHING is FREE with this company! They get your broken frames there for free... but you get charged for it later... TRUST ME! When the website says $29+... the "+" part is the part that gets you! I have Titanium frames and it says on the site... Nose bridge repair start at $25 and then add $10 for Titanium. I thought maybe $55... WRONG $196!!! Then I finally got them down to $99 after complaining and telling them to send back the broken frames. Took forever to get the estimate, and then once I did and paid it, they then informed me they would send them out and would be back to them in 2-3 weeks. THEN they ship them to me. Well I got them back and what a SH**TY job they did! No REAL professional would have let that leave their shop! DO NOT USE THESE A**HOLES!!! Now they inundate you with "TIP" requests! HELL NO!!!
***UPDATE***
They did try and call me and offer to buy me off with $12 to take down a bad review. The original invoice had NOTHING to do with replacement lenses, you need a prescription for that to begin with and you did not have that! They tried to upsell me cases, insurance, additional this and that and the repair work alone was $125, additional shipping of $12. Emailed the company and expressed my concerns over pricing and they agreed to $79 plus shipping. Still have those emails as well. Still a far cry from the estimated $39 on the site. NOW I have them calling and threatening me to take down this one and only review or they will "bombard the internet with bad reviews" about my company!!! Then I come on here to see if I could ease the review a bit, only to find he publicly released my information on the internet! Don't believe me about the threats? I will post a link to the threats on this review if this goes even one step further!

I enjoyed doing business with eyehalassdepot.com. It provided excellent customer service as well as price match. They do have variety of frames that you want to choose from.
I lost my favorite glasses
I lost my favorite glasses; they were discontinued. This site had them, so I took a chance on a company I had no experience with.
I am happy to say the communication was great. In about a week I had the same discontinued frames with my prescription at my door.
I am really pleased and plan on ordering a second pair in case I loose these.....
Exceptional
I found the customer service and the attention to detail on my glasses order outstanding. I am very satisfied with my glasss and will certainly be ordering my glasses from this company in the future. I am one very happy customer. Congratulations.

You may as well burn your money
This business is a scam. I can guarantee you their good reviews are not real. They will harass you for money and never repair your glasses. Look up Decor My Eyes.

I was a little skeptical at first
I was a little skeptical at first, I used to use Hilco for repairs, but I have to admit that your service is far better! The workmanship is exceptional!!! I’m a customer for as long as I wear glasses

old glasses like new…
eyeglasses depo repaired my frame which was my favorite and replaced the lens to the exact spec of original. so now my frames and lens are like new again. really pleased with the finished product.
I was going to use them…
I was going to use them to fix my broken glasses and initiated a repair ticket...then came the non-stop EMAILS AND TEXT MESSAGES saying I hadn't mailed my package! I answered again and again that I wasn't near them & couldn't mail for a week. Still the emails asking...so I got a feeling and searched their reviews. I'm sorry, but 30% 1 star reviews?!? So I canceled my repair request and am now being harassed more!!! Saying you will fix for free?? The reviewers are complaining of: getting DIFFERENT eyeglasses back!; being charged $12 to get them back - what happened to risk free?; being asked for a tip before the glasses are returned???; and asking for a good review BEFORE receiving the item back?? Are you kidding? Oh! And they bragged that they can overcome your SPAM filter - because I answered I was angry because I had reported them as spam but keep getting emails! Sounds like a real "Go To" business
Honest, fast, fair and easy to work with.
Found these guys online and they came through. I ordered a discontinued frame, they had one, but it was broken. Do they worked hard to get me another frame and then they got it to me quickly. I love these folks and will definitely order my sunglasses from them. Highly recommended!
I am a buyer and analyst for a…
I am a buyer and analyst for a manufacturing company. I do business with companies all over the world. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. It starts with multiple emails asking why I did not use the free shipping label, when I had. When I inquired as to why they keep asking me about it, I received an email that said they did not have my item when I provided tracking that proved they did. Right away I received numerous emails asking for payment. In spite of some warning flags, I almost paid it but when I got to the last page, the price changed. I asked for the return of my glasses with no repairs. I still received numerous email asking for payment to repair. Finally they acknowledge the return. I asked for an address to initiate a call tag for their return, it was ignored. I finally relented and paid for shipping and they included a .99 charge for nothing. It is now more than two weeks later, I still have not received my eyeglasses back and someone from their company, hard to tell who because there are three different names on their correspondence, asking for a tip! I have never experienced anything like this and I actually asked whoever it was if they were crazy. A tip? I received several nasty emails from them. For the record, I am a very good tipper for good service, but I do not tip the grocery store clerk, the nurse, or the stewardess. This company seem sketchy.
Most horrible online purchase experience ever!
I had the most horrible experience with this company, and I am still trying to get my money back!
First, i am not a competitor. I am a real customer. Second, I hate writing bad reviews, but felt compelled to do this to protect others.
-I ordered my glasses on November 2nd. After a few weeks, I checked in with the seller and was told I should have known they were being delayed because they were being shipped from Europe. I finally received them in December 10th. Before I even received them, I was contacted repeatedly about leaving a positive review and sending them a “gratuity”.
-The glasses were not what I ordered. They were a different style, came without the Chanel packaging, and appear to be subpar quality (I don’t think they are authentic, and it doesn’t help that they were shipped from an Eastern European country that has no Luxotica distribution center).
-I contacted seller requesting to send back the glasses and to get a refund. First, he told me the glasses I ordered were discontinued and I should keep the ones he sent for a discount. Then he told me he would get me the glasses I ordered. Between all of this, there were an influx of rude and unprofessional messages and phone calls. The seller kept trying to bargain, making this feel more like a swap meet transaction than the purchase of sunglasses from a reputable seller.
-After much back and forth, seller offered to issue a refund if I took down my negative review. I took down my review, he sent confirmation of a refund. The very next day, the refund was canceled and fell off my credit card. I contacted seller again, and when I told him I would repost my negative review, he threatened to charge my card another $45 for disputing the transaction.
So now, I am out hundreds of dollars and I’m going through my credit card company to dispute, and I may be taking further action if he charges my card again.
Save yourself the trouble, and buy or repair your glasses elsewhere.
*****update: Seller’s response below is not true! He is only posting part of our communications. And the fact that he just disclosed my personal information, including my credit card information (which I have since cancelled) just goes to show the type of unprofessional company I am dealing with. Still no refund, and he just sent me the return shipping label this morning, 12/16, so I could not have returned them any sooner.
ONE STAR IS TOO MANY
ONE STAR IS TOO MANY
TOTAL SCAM AND RUDE BEHAVIOR
DONT FALL FOR IT- they like to say people are posting from their competitors.
I am not a competitor I am a regular person trying to warn others to be aware of this companies practices so you don’t waste your time with these bozos

Buyer Beware
BUYER BEWARE! High pressure to submit your eyeglasses after you fill out their form for quote estimate. Bait and switch service. I sent Eyeglasses Depot my Tiffany sunglasses asking for lens replacement. The first quote came back with cost for crystal replacement in addition to the lenses. I contacted them immediately because my glasses don't have ANY crystals on them. Were they confused with another order? They said, "typo" and revised the quote as lenses only and I provided $125 payment. I waited for glasses to come back and during this time was sent two more emails: 1) offer of $5 rebate if I submit a positive review for them before my glasses come (I said no, I want the glasses first) and 2) an email asking me to send their technician a tip (I said no, I want the glasses first.
The glasses arrived shortly after that.
The problem is the glasses I received are NOT mine. They are imitations of mine. They have 6 crystals (actually, only 5 since 1 is missing.) The crystals act as rivets to adhere the lenses to the replacement frames. There were NO rivets or crystals on my Tiffany glasses. My lenses fit securely within the frames. The "new" lenses are riveted on top of the frames. The stems are different. The hinges are different. The nose bridge is different. The gold color is different. These are not my glasses, it’s obvious.
The salesman texted me, wrote that I was being “unethical” and should remove my negative reviews. I am being asked to take down my review first, then they will “do everything we can to make it right.” But no one has offered to return my original glasses to me and no one can explain why the pair that I received has crystals all over it. I want an explanation and solution before any consideration to change this review.

so far so good
so far i am in the beginning of my contact with eyeglassesdepot i loved their website and the ease of getting my glasses to them. i just shipped my item to them will know more later.
If I could leave NO stars
If I could leave NO stars, I would.
Sent 2 pairs of Ray Bans in to be fixed- after no communication on their part, they finally respond with this" Sorry for the delay, but NYC just blew up and we cannot get to our factory". After their harrassing emails, texts and phone calls, I told them where to shove it but not before I filed a claim with the BBB. Now they tell me they lost my glasses. Looking into further means to shut down this SCAM of a business.
