We ordered the Pasta Trio with salad, hummus, and pita bread from Steam Plant Grill, and it went over very well with our work group. The order was listed as serving 20, and that estimate was accurate — we had 10 people and still had plenty left over to enjoy again the next day. Everything arrived fresh and hot.
The hummus was a standout, offering something different from the usual catering options, and the lemon vinaigrette on the salad was a refreshing change. The Tuscani pasta with meatballs and macaroni and cheese were also big hits. A few people mentioned that the fettuccine Alfredo could have used a bit more flavor, but overall, the meal was a hit and everyone enjoyed it.

I ordered two weeks ago for an office lunch. Without telling me they moved my order to be delivered from a different location and changed my delivery time to an hour later than I requested. I did not find out about it until 2 hours before the time I scheduled. I then spent an hour going around and around with their crappy customer service trying to get it fixed. They spent 90 minutes "trying to get in touch with the caterer". I called them and they immediately answered. I told EZCater the number and to press 5 and they would answer. I gave them 5 minutes to do what they needed to do. No answer from them. So I called back myself and while I was on the phone with them, they called in on the other line. TOO LATE I handled it myself. Incidentally the restaurant ALSO hates easy cater and would love to no longer do business with them but corporate makes them. So now my office's lunch meeting for 45 people will be an hour late. I am very dissatisfied and will never use EZCater again.

The food from McAllisters was great, the delivery service, not so much. They were instructed to call contact upon arrival and they did not. My food ended up being 30 minutes late getting to the meeting room due to the driver not following directions.

We had an entire conference room of physicians without lunch because of EzCater! They called and said I could go pick up the food that their driver left. I said I cannot go pick it up that the driver should have made sure my order was correct. EzCater's driver texted me and told me he wouldn't be surprised if my order was incorrect because no one knows what they're doing at the restaurant. Why wouldn't he have ensured it was correct if he thought items were missing? He had a receipt and the food open, looking at it. I also did not receive anything to serve the food that did arrive. If this were the first time this had happened, it would be one thing. But EzCater wants you to use them, but then accepts no responsibility if your food arrives.

I requested coffee sweetener and creamer, I did not receive any. The order did not come with full size plates. The delivery driver shared that they were out. This order was for breakfast and lunch so that was 2 meals I was without plates and because I was unaware until the delivery time I could not go get any. Also was missing ajou for the beef sliders.

I have been a customer of Collard Green Cafe for several years and have consistently enjoyed their delicious, reasonably priced food. My company has also used their catering services for luncheons and holiday dinners, and the owner is always friendly and accommodating. During my recent visit on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, I had the Salisbury steak, collards, and sweet potatoes, which met my expectations. I look forward to returning with my family this weekend.

I really enjoy EZ Cater because of the customer service, the ease of doing a group order, the selection of restaurants, and the form of payment being stored in my account. Convenient and organized. Someone always answers the phone which is very important because yesterday I was trying to place an order but there was a glitch and the lady that answered was able to manually place my lunch order. Huge relief!

Our company order over $600 in food for a meeting. We found out later that we needed to add a vegan option for some people attending. I added a $48 vegan dish to the order. Instead of charging us the difference in the order, they left the preauthorization on and tried to charge us the updated total of $677. When that obviously didn't work, they reached out and said that we needed to pay. I looked at our bank account and there was a pending transaction of $617 already and a declined for $677. They told me that I need to contact my bank to have the pending transaction taken off. They don't do that. I asked why they wouldn't just preauthorize for the difference since they already have $617 preauthorized. THEY AGAIN SAID THAT IS NOT HOW THEIR PAYMENT POLICY WORKS. I have never heard of a business doing this. Why should I have to pay twice and wait 5-7 days to get the original money back?? Take your catering business elsewhere. This place is super shady and customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really is easy and convenient to order through ezCater. I have to order often for work. It helps seeing all the restaurant options on one site, and they have ratings listed for the restaurants which helps you avoid bad ones. In the years I have been using ezCater, I only chose one not-so-great restaurant that didn't deliver on time, but now I have certain go-to restaurants that I use (they are rated as "reliability rockstars" on the site). So now if I want to try a new place I look for that "reliability rockstar" rating.
