Fantastic for reluctant learners or those jaded by the traditional methods.
We have used Fables World as part of our home education journey. My son really struggled with the traditional ways of learning his times tables and was becoming increasingly frustrated so we thought we'd give it a go. I am so pleased that we did! The cash reward incentive was great to motivate him into completing his quests, as he was somewhat fed up with maths. Both my boys enjoy this system and, although they don't necessarily realise it, they are retaining the information they're learning far easier than ever before. The staff are super friendly and encouraging and honestly the whole system just works really well.
Stress free learning - excellent experience
My daughter is Audhd and has dyspraxia. She is very much a visual learner. The app (I'm sure you can guess which!!) they use for school and homework was stressing her out and not helping her actually learn her times tables. I was worried about the dreaded Year 4 times table test and her falling self esteem as she wasn't rising up the ranks on the other app. I signed up to Tables Fables and not only is she actually happy to do it (no nagging required) her recall has improved so much. It's expensive but it works and leads to happiness not stress in our neurodivergent house!
Best Maths resource
We used table fables for our 3 children to learn their times tables. This really is the most fantastic resource and works 100%. Our middle child has dyslexia with low memory retention, reciting times tables out just wasn't going to work for her, visual learning is so much better. She was so good at her times tables that her classmates would all go to her for the answers. Can't recommend highly enough
My son has truly enjoyed his maths…
My son has truly enjoyed his maths sessions with Fables World and always comes away with a smile on his face. The learning techniques are quite simple but really effective. If your child’s reaction to doing maths is "Oh, No!" then these lessons could be a great addition to their education.
Amazing resource for kids with different learning styles!
It is amazing to see how my severely ADHD child was able to learn his tables with a minimum of difficulty using Fables World. This has made math in general so much easier also.
My daughter is absolutely thriving…
My daughter is absolutely thriving using Fables world. In the space of just 4 months she is now extremely confident with all of her tables to the point where she's absolutely putting me to shame as she knows them better than me aged 45 😆
I would absolutely highly recommend this programme because it's fun and it sticks and at 45, I'm learning my tables properly, the way I should have done 30 years ago, allowing us to learn together as a family and test each other. The main thing is , it's fun and the cuddly toys 🧸 and cash back rewards give a fantastic incentive. We're so grateful for finding Fables world 🌎
Absolutely cannot praise enough
Absolutely cannot praise this company enough.
We have just had a fantastic 1:1 on an area my son was very nervous about tackling / experiences high anxiety with after massive struggles and constant frustration while in primary school. Rebecca was amazing, she totally understands dyslexia / dyscalculia challenges. We had 1 1/2 hrs of 1:1 support at absolutely no additional charge, cannot believe something so incredible is offered for free but that just so fits with the ethos of this company. They are full of ways to help you make the most of their learning program, Rebecca made everything really clear and was full of encouragement and praise. During the session I could see my son and at the beginning all the telltale little signs were there showing his anxiety however I watched these quickly ease as Rebecca supported and encouraged him. The whole fables concept builds such strong understanding. Wish we had found this a few years ago/this had been available and promoted in primary school. True the program appeals due to its simple/fun animations but it’s so much more than that, it’s the fact that the mathematical concepts are easy to learn and understandable while confidence is built up as they progress. What’s also amazing is the research that has gone into this and the feedback from experts too. We have tried a number of different programs over the years but this is truly the only one that has actually made a difference.
Fables World is a great resource!!
Fables World is a great resource ro help kids with their times tables and math skills! Both my kids have used it and found it so helpful and the cuddly toy incentives really help too! Highly recommended to parents!!
Fantastic Fractions!
My son completed Table Fables and then was looking for the next thing. He agreed to try Farting Fractions, which initially felt quite a lot harder - but he got the hang of it and can now do it easily, with a smile on his face! The best thing about it from my point of view is that it has consolidated his tables knowledge, almost without him noticing, and it has shown him the POINT of learning tables - because then you can do really difficult things like this! We are now awaiting the delivery of our third Fables World toy and I am a very happy Mum.
So great!
Both of my kids (yr2 and yr8) have loved this. My older child has dyscalculia and the strategies here have helped her confidence so much. She has also earned a £100 reward from Fables World this summer which has of course been an amazing incentive! She happily did the lessons even while away on holiday. My younger child tells us that maths is now her favourite subject, and that she’s really good at it! She also likes to do the lessons even while on holiday. She’s really proud of her achievements and she also loves the cuddly toys a lot! I’ve been so impressed with how well this way of learning works for both children and with how much confidence they now have.
Finally, telling the time is ticked off!
My daughter has never grasped telling the time but fables world has changed this! It took a little while but after diligently working through 2 quests she understands it! Thank you Becky for Fables World, it has been a game-changer!
I Highly recommend Fables world :)
Fables World has been a game-changer for both my children’ maths skills, and it’s been a real hit. Last year, my son aced his year 4 timetables test with a full mark! And my daughter absolutely loves it. I’m so grateful and proud of my two children, who are now 10 and 7. If you’re looking for a fun and effective way to help your children with their maths. I highly recommend Fables World. It’s a great resource for schools and parents alike!
Brilliant learning platform
My 3 children have been using Fables for a few months now. They advanced incredibly quickly with their times tables - age 8, 10 and 12 and their confidence is shining.
We’ve moved through different worlds and in each world my kids find characters they like, laugh at and enjoy which means they are remembering and learning. Some days they only use fables for a few minutes, some it’s a bit longer but 100% I love this program and highly recommend it.
Highly recommend Fables World.
Fables World has been a game changer for our two dyslexic children (aged 10 and 12).
We noticed gaps in their understanding of basic maths concepts, and this platform has helped bridge those gaps in a way that’s fun and accessible. The kids love the “silly” videos, and we enjoy laughing along with them! The short daily lessons have really boosted their mental arithmetic skills, which they now use confidently across the whole maths curriculum. Highly recommended!
My son really enjoys Fables World
My son really enjoys Fables World, he has done all four worlds. He enjoys the videos, they're not too long and the questions enable him to practice skills in a fun way.
He really enjoys collecting points and the rewards for completing the quests.
Awesome company. Kids happy - mum happy :-)
Let me start by saying i don’t usually leave reviews. Good OR bad
But this company deserves all the success in the world - because quite frankly it’s awesome!!!
And I don’t usually subscribe to things that appear to be quite expensive. But with the cashback and the cuddly toys it makes it much more affordable - and actually well worth the money.
So, I’ll start at the beginning.
We home-educate - my girls are 11&12 and whilst we have done maths over the years the youngest always outshone the oldest.
My 12 year old was seriously lacking the maths department - she was struggling to make sense of things and no matter how many times we started at the beginning once again she still didn’t get it. She would immediately shut down if we got maths books out and she would blurt out ridiculous answers in a panic.
Well after 4 months this is no longer the case….Fables world has revolutionized our maths lives. And what’s more, although youngest had a decent grasp she now has a very firm grasp of times tables, clocks and time and fractions. And I’ve learned a lot too lol
Now, Fables world if you can please extend this to other areas (grammar and spelling maybe?!) that would be awesome.
Both girls love Fables world and when I said that we’d run through the Fables tables program one last time they both were really sad.
I will also add that as of today not only have they had cashback, cuddly toys (which are super cute - not cheap and tacky as you’d possibly assume) and certificates but today they won £100 on a summer challenge!!!
Amazing.
I will also add that if you have an issue or question - you simply email them and they reply quickly and personally and they’re really lovely.
I’d say we are coming to the end of our Fables world journey now - and to gf honest, I’m a bit sad and my children are too :-(
Amazing for children with Dyscalculia or maths anxiety!!!
My daughter loves Tables Fables, it’s the one thing that she independently remembers to do everyday, without complaining about having to do it.
This is such a huge thing for us as she has dyscalculia and her previous two schools ignored it and were so unsupportive for so long that she has awful maths anxiety.
With Tables Fables you are able to win prizes as you work your way through various challenges, there is the option of a free one to one lesson and any questions are answered quickly and effectively.
So thank you Tables Fables for helping us so much already.
Fantastic!
Fantastic! We have been using Fables World for a few months now and my 6 year old has loved using the funny cartoons to learn math concepts.
It really is presented in a way that engages children and makes them want to take part - my son actually asks me to do his math work!
They also get rewarded for their efforts with money back for completing tasks and soft toy rewards, which is a great incentive for learning and completing the quests.
We love Fables world
We love Fables world.
My kids never complain about logging on and doing their fables. They love the cartoons and find the times tables fun to learn.
I'm a math educator and joined Fables…
I'm a math educator and joined Fables World private tutoring session as my youngest child finds traditional math teaching difficult, my other child was fine and found math easy. I still cannot believe how effortlessly my son was able to grasp the 7 tables in the Fables World 1 hr private tutoring session, which they offer to every family for FREE! The funny cartoons and stories made it so easy for my son to remember it was like a miracle. He's also working through their learning to tell the time Quests independently and enthusiastically, believe me this never happens with him! I am so pleased we found Fables World it really is a revelations to a math educator like me.
