Honestly I can't praise their bespoke…

Honestly I can't praise their bespoke orders team enough. I wanted a headboard made and not only was the quote service quick and clear, but I appreciated their speedy response to my query regarding production time.

I explained I had quite a tight timeframe and they said they'd do what they could to meet my deadline (appreciating it was less than their advertised timeframes for headboards). They managed to deliver the headboard well within the agreed timeframe and it's beautiful - expertly made and just what I was hoping for. I would definitely use them again and am so grateful for their hard work on turning the headboard around so promptly.

I was overjoyed to find F&P

When I found F&P, I was overjoyed. I couldn’t find anything but straight lines and gray on American websites, nothing overlapping, no patterns. Imagine my delight to discover the tastefulness, richness and complexity of the fabrics and papers offered by F&P, often designed by companies I hadn’t known about before.
I took advantage of F&P’s consultation by Zoom. Hannah Irish cordially showed me the studio in West Sussex, inside and out. I remember that there was snow on the ground, tinged pink by the sunset.
She looked at the room I wanted to redesign: a “great room” combining living room, dining room and kitchen, with a ceiling soaring up to 12’. I received a PowerPoint presentation where every fabric and paper suggested was truly to my taste.
Hannah is like the trim tab on a rudder: some of her slightest suggestions altered the direction of my thinking for the better. She knew how to make a more studied use of my palette and what would pull the room together.
I ordered my wallpaper in England and it was shipped as rapidly as custom-ordered wallpaper can be shipped. The paperhanger was impressed by the quality. The entire room is united by this wallpaper in a way I didn’t expect. It’s wonderful to study their website, but even better to have some of their ideas and materials in my home. The conception stage with Hannah was so enjoyable, but the execution is even better.
I love every cordial interaction. I love the Sunday emails, with a new theme every time, with yet new ideas and materials.
I can hardly wait for phase two of this project.

Fabrics & Paper is absolutely the best…

Fabrics & Paper is absolutely the best website out there for fabric and wallpaper. The selection is huge with well established, quality products. I’ve worked with Sandra over the past 10 years on various projects, she is very knowledgeable with a good eye. Highly recommend!

Horrible customer service!!

Horrible customer service!!!

Ordered 11 rolls of wallpapers they never confirmed the SHIP TO address and shipped to a wrong address. I immediately asked them to stop the shipment and 5 days later it arrived at a wrong destination, we had to absorb the custom & shipping fee (which was almost the cost as the wallpaper itself) and i had to transport it myself to the right address! Horrible customer service never want to admit they were in the wrong, spoke with Heather and she was the worst person to talk to, offer no apologies told me I was wrong and when I wanted to speak with the director she picked up the phone and told Emma is not available (the person who picked up the phone just told me she is) horrible horrible experience. I havent even had the chance to open the wallpaper since it was such a big mess with them. will never order from them again.

Worst wallpaper experience ever.

Honestly, I would not recommend shopping here for wallpaper. If you do-make sure you're happy with the returns policy before you buy. They run an ancient system in which they don't accept returns. I ordered some wallpaper, but on arrival it looked a bit darker than what I expected. It also didn't have the textured appearance as described on the website. So I opened one of the rolls VERY slightly to get a better look-even sent a picture in, and they still wouldn't accept it-and also took days to respond to any of my correspondence. I just don't understand how they function as a company when in this day and age-you purchase something online, and if you don't like it, you return it. Simple. Very irritated. They also tried to convince me to just keep the wallpaper and see the great quality-which I did in the end as I couldn't be bothered to argue back and forth over 3 rolls of wallpaper and after putting it up I still don't believe it's great quality, and even the professional decorator who put it up said that it was deceiving as the packaging says that it's a matched pattern, however each strip doesn't match the next, so you can see the lines very clearly-and he's done my other walls with a pattern match perfectly.

In summary: overpriced, ridiculously ancient system, way too much hassle, all for poor quality products. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be shopping from Fabrics & Papers again.

We do offer a very clear returns policy which you would have seen at the checkout stage, we also offer a free sample at the checkout stage to ensure you are happy with the wallpaper design/colour/quality before committing to the sale. We do this to ensure our customers are delighted with the wallpaper or fabric they are going to receive as we cannot accept part orders back or opened rolls of wallpaper as unfortunately these cannot be re-sold. The wallpaper you purchased was by Zoffany, an international brand who have been producing high quality wallpapers for the past 30 years, we will be sure to pass on your comments to them.

Brilliant Service

Ordered a custom sized sofa from their own range as well as some other branded cushions to complement and couldn't be happier with them both. Really great customer service and design consultation to choose the perfect upholstery (with samples sent to make sure) to fit in with the style of my new Flat. Definitely recommend buying from them again.

Misleading advertising

At best, this is very poor and at worst I believe you are in breach of trading standards. (You have stock to supply but you won't at the price advertised)
I would suggest one of the following:
1. You deliver the order for the price it was advertised and I have paid
2. You give me a full refund immediately for all of the order.
If you choose not to supply then I will be following this through with trading standards.
As an aside, suggest you remove the item from your website, before you throw more of your consumers into a state of confusion.

We do not intend on ordering any of these throws in again but because you ordered two we offered to order you in an additional throw to complete your order, it is unfortunate that our system allowed you to purchase two at the sale price but you were contacted as soon as this error was noted. Do not accept returns

Very disappointed to find they don't accept returns. I bought more paper than necessary deliberately to make sure I had enough (spending in the region of £300), assuming I could return any rolls I didn't use. Found out after they don't accept returns which I think isn't great, I don't know any companies now that don't do this, especially considering they're untouched and in the packaging. They should make it clearer when you purchase that they don't accept returns. Delivery took quite a while too as they don't keep any stock themselves, they're a middle man. Other than that there were no other issues.

Hi Carla, we are really sorry that you are not happy with our returns policy. This is stated clearly in our terms & conditions, which you would have accepted when you placed the order. You are right we are the ‘middle’ man, design houses like Zoffany/Sanderson/Cole & Son (and the majority of the brands we represent) only sell through retailers like ourselves and not direct to the public, and they set the rules on returns – 5 roll minimum and a restocking fee. If you would consider using us for future projects then our knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to assist in working out how may rolls of wallpaper you may require. Fabulous!

I found them terrifically knowledgeable and helpful- particularly Ms Vans Agnew - who has been in the business for years and has great taste in many things - but particularly when it comes to soft furnishings and the like. I couldn't recommend them more!

Fantastic selection of fabrics and papers available, and extremely helpful and knowledgable staff.

Having recently purchased a house I am very much looking forward to exploring all my options for both fabrics and wallpapers with this company.
I have used them before at my previous home and can not recommend them highly enough. All the staff I spoke to were very eager to assist me and when they visited my home they were very helpful indeed offering advice as to the best way of approaching each scheme and supplying me with the samples I required.
The quality of the curtains, pelmets, cushions etc I had made by them was excellent, and I was extremely happy with every aspect of their service.
I would highly recommend this company.

Terrible Service & Zero Aftercare!

They were very unhelpful & said that goods cannot be returned at all if they are not like upon delivery....Less than helpful over the phone aswell (even the director)

We always encourage customers to have a sample prior to ordering, you declined this as you were in such a hurry. Sadly you put the wallpaper on the wall before deciding it was not to your liking. In this case, as the wallpaper was not faulty, and both rolls had been put on the wall, an exchange or refund was not possible, as agreed by the County Court judge.

Brilliant service and friendly advice

I really appreciate the help I received from the sales team in calculating the needed amount of fabric. I have just cut the curtain pieces and as planned I'm able to match all repeats without too much unneeded fabric. Thank you for all help, I will definitely be back for more.

Very good service all round

I live in Switzerland and I ordered from Fabrics and Papers because there is no similar service available in Switzerland. It is a shame as the downsides of ordering from the UK are the extra delivery expenses and the length of time it takes to receive ordered goods.

I like the website for Fabrics and Papers and they have a great range of fabrics and papers on offer. If ever you want a franchise in Switzerland, let me know because something like this is sorely needed here.
