An excellent company

An excellent company. Very helpful and true to there word regarding delivery times and product spec. Dave was very helpful and will be pleased to answer your questions. If you are looking for friendly customer service then give Franthorpes a go - you will feel that you you are talking to people who understand there products and can give un bias advice. Thank you, the Quad 24P has also exceeded my expection.

Exceptional service

Exceptional service, knowledge and help. The mark of a great business is how they deal with problems. When the courier erroneously shipped the DAC I bought from Fanthorpes to another country , they worked tirelessly to locate it, return it, check all was great and then re-shipped it out. Truly exceptional service, I am delighted and over the moon with the service I have received. Thank you Fanthorpes.

Excellent service

Recently Purchased an Audiolab 9000 cdt from Fanthorpes. Excellent service from start to finish. Marc was really helpful and gave me a great trade in price. They even arranged to collect the trade in at their cost! Cdt arrived next day as promised.

Bought a Melco N100 Network streamer

Bought a Melco N100 Network streamer. Brilliant support from Steve their Tech and the sales team. A lot of patience was shown in helping me to understand the Streamer for first-time use and the ongoing support offered. Very pleased with my purchase. Came well packed in its original packaging materials.

True customer service.

A fantastic service from beggining to end, no pushy sales, just polite and friendly help and fantastic customer service.
I bought some Floorstanding Speakers ( Wharfdale Elysian 3's). They are available from several 'faceless' websites, but i like to support real smaller buisness with people you can speak to and knowledge you can rely on. From my inital enquiry I knew I was in safe hands and communication was friendly and fast. I was offered a good deal on my old speakers as part exchange, and despite being a nearly 6 hour drive away, I was offered an install service (and pick up of the trade-ins) for a very reasonable cost. Steve the installer is a lovely guy and arrived when expected and did a great job packing up my old speakers and setting up my new ones.
I couldn't be happier with the service I have received, and would urge anyone looking at getting some new equipment to give them a call. Real buisness's with proper customer service should be treasured and supported. If my wife ever lets me spend on Hi-Fi again (just kidding, she loves our new speakers), I'll definately be using Fanthorpes again.

This is an outstanding company going…

This is an outstanding company going the 'extra mile' literally in my case travelling across the country to demo equipment. I could not fault the service they gave and the whole experience was a pleasure.

Not inspired to deal with Fanthorpes Hi-Fi again

Q1: What did Fanthorpes Hi-Fi do to help resolve speaker connection problems? A1: Although communication started off well, and despite Fanthorpes being a Devialet agent, nothing. Nothing was suggested to resolve the speaker’s connection problems

Q2: Did Fanthorpes pass you on to anyone else who could help; a Devialet rep, for example? A2: No. Nothing was even suggested

Q3: Did Fanthorpes help you come to an easy decision as far as returning the Phantom speaker? A3: Again, despite Fanthorpes promising to “work together” in returning the Devialet speaker, when it came to the crunch, Fanthorpes stated that they had not even received my request to return (which was made through the eBay email system).

Q4: How would you rate Fanthorpes? Q5: I had no option other than to rate them ‘negatively’. Out of five, I would rate them as ’poor’, giving them a score of ‘2’.

Q6: Did this experience inspire you to deal with Fanthorpres again? A7: No, not at all.
