I was researching new gravel bikes and must have had 50 or more under consideration. The Fara Gr4 ticked all my boxes and offers a great quality and very versatile package at a reasonable price. Fara is consumer direct from Norway. The communication and service is first rate.

Great service from the shop for my mail order to UK price included tax due BREXIT of course, great quality products delivered quickly and really well packed. I bought some spares for my FARA gravel and also a set of the custom fit luggage which is fantastic and they work really well with the fidlock system

I would like to share my experience of working with this company.

About a week ago, I wrote a letter to support and asked about the possibility of delivering a specific product to my country.
On behalf of the company, Csaba Ringhoffer responded to me.
He wrote to me:

"Yes, this product can be delivered to your country, place an order on our website!"

The next day, I tried to place an order, but the payment button gave me an error. Then I contacted Csaba Ringhoffer support to help me pay.
To do this, I asked to send a manually typed invoice for payment directly by card or via Paypal.

Note: their website only allows payment via their local Scandinavian service Klarna. It's amazing that in the 21st century, someone doesn't have a PayPal wallet. Maybe they operate in their region, but why declare worldwide delivery?
Csaba answered me exactly 1 (one) letter per day, no more (why more?). As if his working day consists of coming to his desk for 10 minutes, answering and going home. I am simply discouraged and surprised at what a low level of customer service is.
Then he asked me if I could pay for the order via Revolut (I answered no/this service does not work in my country). And he still answered one question per day.
And today, after a week of fruitless and stupid correspondence, Csaba Ringhoffer wrote to me:
"Unfortunately, while we were corresponding, this product became more expensive and we cannot supply it at the old price, blah-blah-blah." Do you understand when they write such stupid replies?
When there is nothing to say and you just want to "politely" tell the client to go to hell.

What's the bottom line?
I don't hold a grudge against Csaba, maybe he is a good guy, but he is a bad seller - that's for sure.
But I am infinitely sorry for the time I wasted on all this correspondence. And I really don't like it when they take me for a fool and avoid the truth. And the truth is the most important thing in the seller-buyer relationship.

Now think for yourself whether you want to deal with FARA Cycling?

I recently received my Fara F/Road bike. It is simply awesome. It feels smooth, fast, and everything I was hoping it would be. The strand colour is striking yet subtle and I am enjoying every mile I ride on it. The customer service was great and I can only say good things about the whole experience.

Working with the folks from FARA has been a great experience. We've bought 2 A/R's, 2 Road, 1 Gravel. The bikes are great, we especially love the A/R's for their versatility in handling any kind road or terrain,. Buy a FARA and be as happy as we are.

Its like when you're a kid and you want to play or ride, but your mum calls you in for dinner.. and she calls again and again and again, but you're enjoying it too much.. Its OK though because after dinner i'll be back on my bike again loving every minute

My curiosity was drawn to this relative unknown Norwegian cycle brand so I purchased a custom Fara gravel bike.
Clear info, fine equip options and easy ordering on the website.
Good communication about a problem with the order and overall great service.
Delivery was good.
Simple assembling and set up the bike. Great color, lightweight and super smooth and comfortable ride.

I was intrigued by the story behind the brand. So I bought the bike. And it made me their fan. From quality to build, performance and timeless aesthetic, it's just beautiful. It's fast, responsive and comfy. I love spending hours on my FARA All-Road model. I cannot recommend FARA enough. These guys deserve more recognition.

I bought a F/Gravel from Fara Cycling in the Signature Phylite colour. It really is a beautiful bike, the paint job is incredible. But the build quality is also top notch. I chose an Ekar drive train from Campagnola and Fulcrum wheels. Its possible to spec the bike exactly the way you want it or they also have an off the rack pre built setup as well. It took a while to get the bike but it was worth the wait. The ride is beautiful, Im delighted with it.
