Two separate orders, two separate disappointments
I have only used this company for two separate orders and on both occasions I have been disappointed. After the failure with my first order earlier this year, they were courteous with their communications with me so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again.
This time I ordered a pair of boots from a full range of sizes that were all shown as in stock and at a fair price. Great I thought, I'll risk another order.
One working day later my order was cancelled and I received an email stating that they had cancelled it because they only had one pair of size 12 in stock.
They were again courteous in their email but nonetheless this time seem to not maintain their web pages regularly.

They citied that when a delivery was attempted the people at the address were not aware of the name on the order. As per our terms & conditions in some instances we have to contact the customer for additional shipping costs once the item has been weighed and packaged. We shop around for best price and contact the customer to see if they are happy to proceed otherwise we can offer a full refund. It is an anomaly when we have to do this as we try our best to cover additional shipping costs.
The main cost on your order appears to be the Canadian Import Duties which we are not responsible for. This is a cost of importing your good into Canada from the UK and we are unable to foresee these costs as they are not applied by us. This is carried out when the product reaches it's destination country.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We will happily refund the price of the part as soon as it is returned to us.

We ship to Canada multiple times a day and are yet to have feedback on customs costs so we are sorry this has caused you inconvenience.
Regarding additional shipping costs, we outline this in our terms & conditions. Again, shipping rates can fluctuate and occasionally depending on the package and location differ from the price paid at checkout due to the volumetric weight of the parcel being larger than the net weight.
