Can't help feeling if there are delays, then we should be kept in the loop either by automated or manual means to show we are not forgotten. Rather than waiting for initial bad feedback to suddenly jump into action, so dropping 1 star because of having to hire the work out

Unfortunately there seems to be a misunderstanding here though. Our website has not been hacked, I can assure you of that.
My colleague explained our suppliers server is down so processing of orders was taking a little longer than usual. We called to try and explain but unfortunately you keep hanging up, so we have left a message with you going into detail about the order. We will also email you an update. We are unsure about the review as there is no problem with your order. This was ordered on the 23/04 and the courier has attempted to deliver it today 27/04 according to the tracking information but there was nobody at the address to accept the delivery. Due to signed for delivery being paid for, the parcel cannot be delivered without being signed for. We can see from tracking information that an SMS text message was sent about the delivery this morning and the delivery was attempted at 11.54am. A further SMS has been sent with information on what to do next.
The courier should have left information through your door also.
Please see below the information on the tracked parcel:
"We attempted to deliver your parcel on Wednesday 27th April 2022 at 11:54 but no one was available. Your parcel will either have been taken to a local Post Office for the addressee to collect or returned to our depot. Your parcel status will be updated here and our driver will have left a card explaining what to do next."
We will contact you about this order as soon as possible & resend your tracking information.
**Update 29/04/22**
We can see from the tracking information that the courier service tried to deliver this again yesterday. Due to this being signed for they cannot leave the parcel unattended without somebody at the address signing for it. They have now advised the below
'Our driver has taken your parcel to a local Post Office for the addressee to collect. The card left by our driver will give the details of the Post Office. This card and a form of ID should be taken when collecting the parcel.'
