Learning with the Fashion Design Academy is amazing. As a busy Mam of 3 I am able to work at my own pace and really gain the knowledge I need to create my dream fashion brand. The Tutors especially Fiona, and Student Services are so helpful. They will help you very quickly with any issues you have. I have learned so much and I am only 6 months into the course. There are lots of opportunities for students to showcase their pieces and learn the whole fashion design process. The assignments teach you so much and help you build your portfolio

I'm currently completing the fashion design home study diploma course. I find it brilliant as you can set your own pace. The assignments are enjoyable to do from pattern drafting to creating your own designs. The online learning centre has lots of information and everytime I've reached out to a tutor I've gotten a quick response . They are lovely and really informative. They're feedback on assignments is very constructive. I have no experience in fashion design so it's fascinating to me.

I completed the Fashion Academy home study diploma and I’m glad I did. The course is clear, well structured, and easy to follow from home. My tutors over the 3 years were amazing, very responsive and they know their stuff! Student services were also great, very helpful and friendly. Overall the academy is run very well, you have the opportunity to connect with other students through the academy dashboard. I highly recommend anyone interested in fashion to go with this academy.

I started the postgraduate course with the fashion design academy Ireland recently. So far, I'm really loving it! I chose to do the home study option as I work full time and thought this would be the best fit for me. I can't speak for the other course options, but for this one, there really is a lot of work to do outside of the lessons. I'm only on the first unit, so it may get more detailed as we proceed. But so far, if you're a beginner like me, there is a lot of background research you need to do yourself. For me, that's not a major issue as I am so interested in the course that it's really helped me learn so much in such a short space of time.
The tutors have been very quick to respond when I've submitted my assignment or contacted them with questions. The assignment briefs can be a little vague, but you can ask your tutor for help. And there is a forum where students post their questions, so you can nearly always find your answer in there too. The online platform is easy to use.
If you're interested in the course, so far I would recommend. But be prepared to do a lot of your own research. This is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. I think if you were to only use the lesson material, there wouldn't be enough information to get you through the assignments. Students do have access to an online library, and tutors do recommend reading from there from time to time.
There is a lot more to it than I expected, but I am absolutely loving it so far! After only 1 assignment I already feel like I've learned so much.
