Fastcomet was a 5 Star Company. But now they changed their interface. they lowered the security level to login. 1 year ago i always had to put a confirmation code by email to login when i was logged in with a VPN that is gone. but most ridiciolous is that now to do a simple domain extension you need to create a ticket or contact the support. That is really a joke. i will move all my Domains to another company. Was great some years. now just trash is left. And the support is way slower then it was before as well. AI has a bad influece there obviously. Really sad. I loved them before.

Bad customer support
Edit: A Customer Support Agent reached out after I posted my review. While I won't proceed with their services based on the facts that I mention later, I do appreciate the effort that this agent made to make my experience better. He provided all the information that I required, did background research, and gave me the exact costs, which was what I was originally looking for. But it's too late.
ORIGINAL POSTING:
I've seen that they're praised for their customer support, but I found that was not the case for me. I tried twice to buy their services, and I only had a few questions. The chat is extremely slow, and it seems to me that even when you're supposed to be talking to a human, you're actually talking to a bot. I lost several hours, and my questions weren't answered. It was even worse when the case was scaled by the chat to an email support; the "person" in charge of the case didn't read the conversation I had with the previous agent, didn't give straight answers to my direct questions (even when I literally asked for a straight answer), and it was evident that they wouldn't even read their previous answers because they would ask the same questions or gave the same wrong answers. And the irony is that I WAS JUST ASKING THESE QUESTIONS TO HIRE THEM! I was 90% sure about migrating to them from Hostgator (another terrible company), and I just wanted to get a few assurances to make sure I didn't face problems. Well, guess what? If their sales agents are bad, I can't imagine when I need support.

This is no longer the same company…
This is no longer the same company which had such great hosting support. FastComet was bought out and the drop in support quality is such a shame. The old team would respond to tickets in 15 mins and fix issues in an hour 90% of the time... often much quicker. The new team I had to wait 2 hours to get told my problem was being looked into and another 7 to tell me the problem was a problematic plugin which I had already worked out. After this I check my VPS which has probably been neglected since they took over and found my Imunify360 licence is disabled (despite paying them for one) leaving all of my websites vulnerable. It's been 13 hours since I updated the ticket letting them know about it which I guess is the sort of response time they feel is acceptable for manged VPS customers. I miss the old FastComet, cost cutting measures have completely destroyed what made FastComet so good. Ignore the reviews from before 2026 this is no longer the same company and I would look elsewhere.

I am updating my previous review because the situation with FastComet support and infrastructure reliability is still unresolved…. since 2025!!!
My company operates a high-traffic technology news website (showmetech.com.br), online for over 17 years, and for the past several weeks the site has been suffering repeated outages caused by server-side issues that FastComet has been unable to properly resolve.
This is not an application issue.
This is clearly a server infrastructure stability and support process failure.
The problems started after changes made by FastComet to the server environment in 2025. Since then, we have experienced repeated service disruptions caused by:
* Redis crashes and segmentation faults
* Redis persistence failures (AOF and RDB)
* Out-of-memory events affecting Redis and MariaDB
* Redis connection failures during peak traffic
* PHP process spikes causing the WordPress admin panel to become inaccessible
* Server-side configuration changes breaking services
* firewall rules blocking legitimate APIs and plugins
* multiple service restarts without proper root-cause resolution
* In several cases the website went completely offline, sometimes for hours.
For a media website, this causes real operational damage and SEO impact.
Even after multiple interventions from their team, Redis continues to crash constantly and the site continues to go offline, several times per day.
Another major problem, by the way, is the way the support team is handling the case. Over the course of this incident:
* Multiple engineers responded without reading the ticket history;
* Different support agents proposed conflicting solutions;
* The team suggested disabling Redis entirely instead of fixing the configuration;
* And worst of all: agents always forget to test the site and the WordPress panel when they make alterations.
This situation has caused:
* repeated site outages
* inability to access WordPress admin
* interruptions for editors and writers
* SEO risks for a news publication
What I Expect from FastComet: At this point the situation requires escalation beyond standard support. What is needed is:
* A senior infrastructure engineer assigned to the case daily, until the issue is fixed and tested.
* A clear root-cause analysis of the Redis crashes
* A stable Redis configuration appropriate for WordPress object caching
* Proper monitoring to prevent future outages
This is not a simple support ticket anymore. It is a service reliability incident affecting a production media platform.
Until a permanent solution is provided, my experience with FastComet support cannot be considered satisfactory.

Even though my explanations were sometimes complicated and not always clear, the technical support team patiently asked for clarification step by step and helped guide the process until everything was solved. Their calm and methodical approach made a big difference.
Most importantly, they carefully configured the file root so that I could keep all of the data I had built over a long period of time. That meant a lot to me.
