These people are crooks

I do not say this lightly.

Last April I took my PC to these people to upgrade it from Windows 10 to 11.

I said I wanted all the files etc. transferred.

It came back with half of them missing.

They took it away but it came back exactly the same. They could not find the missing files.

I am missing half of my music. It now only goes up to the letter "M". I cannot put back the ones I know are missing as I do not have a CD drive anymore.

Most of my spreadsheets have disappeared. These include the finances of the local church.

I had around 14,000 photographs that I had taken over the years. Now it is about 200. Besides the ones I had taken over the years they include photos and documents of previous generations. Priceless. All lost. Worst of all they have wiped off all the photos of our late daughter. Gone forever.

You can put a Google review for them on their website. I did. It is on Google's website but not theirs. It would appear they can delete reviews they do not like. How many more than mine have been deleted? There are seven on there. Strangely all are five star and all written exactly one year ago.

Besides all the grief and anguish they have caused this simple exercise has cost some £200.

Their warranty does not exist and one of the joint owners will not make contact after three emails over six weeks.

It would now appear my only course of action is the courts for the £200 but how can you quantify a price for everything else?
