I have an inflatable boat that has 3…

I have an inflatable boat that has 3 punctures caused by a cat sleeping on it.
I was advised from toolstation to use Fiber flex patch for easy repairs, " boasts robust fixings, air tight, reinforced and waterproof".
I am not going to leave a complete bad review because of experimental uses.
Two of the holes were underneath the boat and they are completely fixed,but!!!
The one on top isn't and the reason is because it's exposed to the sun heat which makes the glue unstable and under pressure releases the air through the glue and deflates, "annoying grrrrr".
At the cost of £10 I will keep for other uses but you need to upgrade your literature on the product so people are aware of this important flaw.
