These work well, but must be changed about every 6 mo. When I replaced my frig filter, about a month ago, I ordered 2 new ones to keep on hand for future changes. Unfortunately, the almost 20-yr-old frig failed about 2 wks later, unrelated I'm sure to the filter change, but requiring replacement and the new filters won't work in the new frig.
