After speaking with my appliance repair technician, I am certain I am receiving the real deal: genuine Frigidaire replacement filters. Apparently, some companies, unknowingly or not, have sent fake filters. Filters Fast aregood guys.

The filter is not an exact fit. I have to carve down part of the plastic housing to make it fit. Been having to carve down for years. Although FF has the correct, original model number, I still receive a filter that requires carving. I plan to cancel this FF subscription for this filter and my HVAC filters.
