The unit itself is perfect as a replacement item. However it came with a connection cable way to short for this exchange. I had to use the old one, but if the cable was the problem this would not have been good.

Appears identical to the original. Simply remove and replace! Very pleased with this purchase. OEM unit lasted 23 years, hope this one to do the same.
