The Pentek NCP-10BB filters sediment as well as chlorine taste & odor. The NCP-10BB is constructed with carbon impregnated media not cellulose therefore providing resistance to bacterial attack.

Supposed to eliminate chlorine from water yet there are times when strong chlorine smell in water out of the tap after filtration. Don't know how effective vs Water Co. chlorination process.

Excellent sediment and odor/taste filter for well applications. A pre-filter of cellulose may be desirable to lengthen life of this carbon-impregnated filter. Removes chlorine as well if used for in-town household water.
