I had the absolute pleasure of hiring the ACD Arts African Dancers through Find a Performer to surprise my wife, who had just been diagnosed with cancer. Originally, we were meant to spend the next six months in South Africa, but due to the diagnosis, our plans were dashed. Determined to bring a piece of Africa to her and provide a distraction from the challenges she faced, I arranged for a day of surprises, and the ACD Arts African Dancers were the highlight of it all.

From the moment they arrived, their energy was infectious. Their vibrant personalities immediately lifted our spirits, and their warm smiles made us feel like family. As they began to perform, I was transported back to my home country by the pulsating rhythms and mesmerising movements of their traditional South African dances.

Their talent was undeniable, but what truly stood out was their genuine passion for what they do. It wasn't just a performance; it was a heartfelt expression of their culture and heritage. They engaged with us, encouraging us to join in the fun and creating an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.

In the midst of uncertainty and fear, the ACD Arts African Dancers brought joy and light into our lives. They provided a much-needed escape, allowing us to forget about cancer for a moment and simply enjoy the beauty of their artistry.

Liaising with Find a Performer was a breeze, and they were brilliant with my short notice request. They even offered me a discounted rate, which was greatly appreciated. However, it was my first time using Find a Performer, and I must admit I was unsure of their usual processes, especially for last-minute bookings. It would make more sense to check the availability with their performers/artists prior to asking for signing their contract and paying their invoices, as it seemed a little backward in regards to the process. Nevertheless, their staff were friendly, professional, and very much on hand with my load of questions and requests, so I can't fault their service. Thank you so much for helping me to make this happen!

I cannot recommend the ACD Arts African Dancers and Find a Performer highly enough. Their combined efforts truly made a difference in our lives, and we are forever grateful.

My parents had booked a dance act via Find a performer , known as Funki feathers (funki ents dance ) for their golden wedding anniversary party which they had paid in Advance in full,
Before the event they called the company a couple days before to check the train strikes would not affect their travel and they had arrangements in place to allow for this , which they said yes they do.
The night of my parents event which had been long awaited and looked forward to as my dad has been suffering with stage 4 cancer which is why this party was even more special and important to us as we do not know what is round the corner for him, that night we awaited the dancers and they had not arrived we waited for some time to allow for some delay and then called the event organiser as we were worrying what was happening which we had no answer , We then messaged Simon from funki feathers and said what is happening and he text and said one dancer was off sick and one was stuck in London.
No attempt had been made to call me earlier that day to inform me of these problems and I had to find out 45 minutes after the dancers should have arrived that they were no longer coming, As you can imagine this was devastating for my parents, and to find out this in the middle of their event it was totally unacceptable and very upsetting for them.
I have had no call of apology from funki feathers and I am totally disgusted by how we have been treated I would never trust trust this company ever again and would certainly not recommend anyone using them if they didn’t want to get let down like we have been.

I booked Preeti Sharma for my son’s wedding for our Ladies Sangeet Evening. Preeti was fantastic and really made the evening. We had spoken prior to the day about how we would approach the evening and she came prepared. All the guests commented on how wonderful the evening was. Preeti got all the guests involved and has a fabulous voice. Would not hesitate to book again - thank you

Great company for finding suitable performers. Geoff was really helpful and professional in dealing with booking.
I booked a singer who sings Bollywood and Punjabi folk songs for my Ladies Sangeet on my son's wedding. Her name is Preeti Sharma and she was fantastic. She sang very well, full of enthusiasm and involved all the guests in her performance. She was polite and a warm person and made the whole experience family friendly. The mood in the house was very jovial and happy. Everyone commented on how good her performance was. I can see her getting bookings for her in the future for their functions. Thank you Preeti for making my son’s pre wedding function a happy one and thank you Geoff for organising it. It was well worth the money. A very happy customer:)

Dealing with Geoff was a pleasure and the event at the cricket World Cup was a huge success. Hope to work with Geoff and Find a performer again very soon.
