I highly value Fernando’s teaching and motivational skills. I’ve known Fernando since I started taking Spanish lessons at my local college. The lessons were class room style but were interrupted by COVID and school closures. I have been an Online student ever since.

During the classroom studies I observed Fernando teaching a diverse group of students. He engages really week using great materials, songs, books, films and Spanish history.

I know Fernando teaches Spanish at higher education levels.

I am learning Spanish in my 60’s purely for enjoyment and conversation whilst a I spend a few months each year in Spain. I am not the quickest student, however Fernando adapts to my pace and tailors his teaching to what I really want/ need.

In a word, Fernando is ‘superb’.

I'd like to leave a review about Colleen Allen. We met Colleen during a difficult time for our family. She arrived, and so many things became easier. Colleen worked with our 14-year-old son, who has many complex illnesses and diagnoses, including many developmental challenges, but she always found a way to connect with him, always sensitive to his mood and condition. Colleen drew and sculpted with our son, sang songs, read books, did creative activities, and listened to music, which I loved very much. It was so wonderful. Colleen worked with our son to help him use a fork and spoon, drink from a cup, practice putting on and taking off clothes, and generally worked with him to develop his independence. Colleen also did physical exercises with our son, throwing and catching a ball, walking on stepping stones, putting together pyramids, puzzles, and so much more, too many to list.
Colleen invested a lot of effort and energy into the lessons, preparing at home and coming to classes prepared with new ideas, doing everything to engage our son.

We know our son was in good hands, well-protected and cared for, receiving the best opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills he needed for his life.

Colleen helped not only our son but also us, his parents. Colleen became like a member of the family. We love her dearly and are so glad we welcomed her into our lives.

I’ve been learning Korean with Hyeyoung, and it’s been a great experience so far. She is very friendly and creates a comfortable atmosphere during the lessons. The classes are always interesting and engaging. Even though I haven’t been studying for long, I can already see real progress. I’m happy to continue learning with her.

Utterly dreadful company. Steer clear of this 'mob'.

You sign up ...get no contacts from any students ...and then it all goes quiet. One year later, they take another subscription payment out of your bank account.

I emailed them one year earlier asking them to cancel my account. They're site replied saying my request was being looked at. Never heard anything. Then one year later, they removed another £29.90 out of my account.

When I queried this, they claimed I was still part of their system and REFUSED to hand the money back. I asked them to check their emails from the previous year ...and they said they couldn't find anything. So I had to send them a screenshot of their reply from the previous year.

Simply put. They have no intention of paying any money back. They claim they can't find any email (despite my proof). So they are either utterly incompetent in what they do ...or they are a set of liars. Which one is it ...or is it maybe both?

So my suggestion to them at this point in time; go and 'Find a Tutor' ...one tutor who can show them how to do proper email administration and another who can show them how to do respectable banking.

Absolutely steer clear of these cowboys. They are rip-off merchants who are just grifting for easy money.

Really good place to find students, unfortunately I can´t answer all my messages because the platform doesn´t let me do it and that impacts in my response percentage.

The experience was fantastic.

More than just an ordinary teacher, a therapist too, with great understanding of diversity. Calm, patient and very thorough, whilst professional, polite and precise. Knows her expertise and ensures engagement at all times. Absolutely energetic, enthusiastic and efficient in keeping all candidates interested in the syllabus. Most significantly, Shavon displays a very considerate, honest and transparent persona which I know is held in high regard by all students. Passionate about her work ethics and extremely knowledgable in her field.

I would like to thank Shavon for all her efforts and support in doing her utmost best to make sure her lessons remained exciting. Particularly liked group activities and exercises to demonstrate and assess how individuals worked amongst teams.

My experience has been positive. The teacher is kind and explains things clearly, especially in Quran and Tajweed. I can see improvement.

The listing for tutors for any specific subject needs to be constantly updated. This listing should also inform the tutors, who are searching for tutoring jobs, about the date a student enquiry was first registered. If a tutor has taken that job, the listing of that job should be removed.
