If you pay Finishlinetaxsolutions anything up front and even if you don't sign their contact, or receive anything from them, you will not be getting your money back. It's a scam! (Cancelling the day after via credit card will not work either)

FinishLine Tax Solutions is a complete…

FinishLine Tax Solutions is a complete scam. My experience with this company was extremely unprofessional and disorganized from start to finish. Their Senior Tax Analyst, Tarik Spencer, made repeated promises about what they could do for my case—promises that continued up until I made my final payment. However, once payment was completed, those promises were not fulfilled. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent, and I was misled multiple times about the status of my case. I was guaranteed that my tax debt would be reduced or eliminated and that a payment plan would be arranged with the IRS. I was also told that interest would not accrue while they were negotiating on my behalf. Before filing my 2025 tax return, I specifically asked if I should wait to avoid my refund being taken. Tarik Spencer advised me to file and assured me the IRS would not take my refund because they were handling my case. Despite this, the IRS applied my refund to my tax debt within weeks. When I followed up, Tarik appeared unaware of the situation and said he would contact the IRS to recover my refund and set up a payment plan. I never heard from him again. I then contacted the resolution department and explained everything. I received a response from Melody Johnson stating my request for a full refund was denied. Instead, I was offered $150 if I signed paperwork—despite paying approximately $900 for services that were not delivered. Melody Johnson informed me through e-mail that they do record conversations. I told her if they go back and investigate, they will find multiple conversation of false promises by their Senior analysist. She told me that they were no longer reviewing my case and that the issue was resolved. I was very confused by the e-mail. Pretty much saying their not reviewing and decision is final. FinishLine Tax Solutions failed to provide the services they promised. I received no meaningful assistance, and I was misled throughout the entire process.

This was the worst I have ever seen. Paid $800 dollars for help. Was told more then once that I did not owe anything which I guess was not true!! Now I owe more to the IRS because of interest which I feel is wrong since they were representing me, I paid them literally for nothing!! Stay away from them!! Communication is horrible!!!
