These bioethanol stoves and fires can only be used with the bioethanol fuel itself.

Lovely looking burner. Very authentic. We had the chimney breat knocked through to add to the look of it being a real log burner. We just have to finish painting the skirting then we will be ready to give it a go. Very pleased with the result.

Though I bought this by the end of real winter, it served my purpose as my boiler broke down hence did not want to rush to get a boiler to waste money. With no primary heating this was really effective in colder days too in my sitting room. Heating effect is second only to a fan electric heater which is going to be very expensive to run. Easy to lite it, it provide good heat out. however, how it work long term is yet to be seen.

The fire is lovely and works really well. I use it to heat my (now quite insulated) conservatory and it is more than sufficient as the only heat source, even on colder days. If it's sunny, that of course helps, and I find I don't need to keep the fire going once the sun starts to provide solar heat. A one-litre bottle of bio ethanol lasts quite a long time if you close the vent to half way: up to about ten hours if it's kept half-closed most of the time. I tend to have it fully open for the first half an hour or so, then I close the vent to halfway and it burns for ages. All in all, I'm really pleased with this stove. It looks nice and it works well.
