Bought a hooded top. I'm a big frame, so went for the XXL (which is usually a good bet for most brands). But the top I received is more of a M/L. Even taking into account the differences between b... See more

Avoid at all costs

I bought a pair of Firetrap boots a while back, believing they were a good brand, do not believe the hype! The boots are appalling quality and the soles detached from the boot very easily. Super gluing them back on helped for a while but they also leak very badly on a wet day. they are complete rubbish and deserve to be exposed as such. When I contacted the company I received a very arrogant reply beginning with: "Sorry to hear you have damaged your boots....." NO I DIDN'T, THE BOOTS ARE RUBBISH! Avoid at all costs,

Awful company

Awful company, even worse customer service.

They sell priced marked, discounted goods at full price.

The product quality is sub-par, much like the way the company is run.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Ordered 6 items one of the items in the parcel was not what I ordered so I emailed them took 2 weeks to reply. They told me return recorded delivery so I did. A few days later they marked the item as faulty and gave me a refund. The item wasn’t faulty it was the wrong item sent so I emailed them back regarding my postage fee and got no reply

Some yrs back I purchased a set of boots from FireTrap online. They arrived but were the wrong style so I sent the items back recorded delivery. The Items were returned successfully (tracked) but no replacements arrived> Firetrap customer service refused to assist giving the usual polite run around. My credit card company were useless but did tell me I was not the first to have issues with them and suggested I don't do business with them.

AVOID online, buy in a store.

Firetrap: A trap for your cash! Beware...

Make sure you exercise great care when using Firetrap.com!

In Short: I bought £180 worth of goods from Firetrap, returned everything, but it somehow took them 8 weeks and 7 e-mails to have my money returned.

Only after my 3rd e-mail did I receive a reply, then a further 3 e-mails were required to convince them that my money was not in my bank. I then received a partial payment, less £25, for which there was no explanation were the rest of the money had gone! I nearly didn't notice this, luckily I double-checked. It took one more email asking where the rest of my money was before I got the last bit of my cash back! I never received an email response to the last exchange.

So,yes I have my money back, but it took a LOT of hassle and I will not use them again.
