Save your time and avoid this company

Save your time, energy, and stress and avoid this company like the plague. Poor customer service, hidden terms and conditions, and rude, dismissive emails. They refused a return on an unopened product, claiming there is no cooling-off period.

I buy goods as a business from many suppliers and have never had an issue returning an unopened product.

Fireworld said:
"This is not our policy but rather a widely known fact, and as such, we comply with this. It is expected that businesses understand the regulations involved in online purchases. It is therefore not necessary nor mandatory to spell it out in the terms & conditions of any website to say there is no right of return in Business to Business (B2B) transactions."

If you don’t want to waste your time and money, honestly, buy from someone else.

Plus, the delivery was significantly delayed.

Business-to-Business Purchases

Unlike domestic purchases. Business purchases do not have the same automatic, legal 14-day cooling-off period when purchasing from other businesses. Such rights are stated in the seller's terms and conditions.

Our website doesn’t have any hidden terms & conditions. On the contrary, to place an order with us, the purchaser must tick a box to acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accept the terms & conditions before completing the transaction, which this business, “KAMELEON SO LTD,” did when it made its purchase from us.

The comments about the service we provided are as misleading as those about our hidden terms & conditions, and are completely false.

Great customer service & prices

Really impressed with the sales and customer service teams. I was helping my elderly mum to buy a fire and get it delivered.
They had the best prices in the country.

The company were so helpful and quick to reply to my emails and questions. They bent over backwards to help us. Thanks!

Very Rude

Went to place an order with this company but changed my mind. Received a phone call regarding the order and when i said I didn't want it they just hung up on me. Very rude!

I have just seen your response and the person who called me hung up on me so not only are they rude but also tells lies.

Hi we have looked into the comments made in your review and can see that you entered all your details into our website to purchase a product but no payment was made. So a member of our sales team called you as a matter of courtesy to see if they could be of any assistance and you informed them that you didn't want to proceed with the purchase and you ended the call on them. Our staff were not rude in anyway, on the contrary they were very courteous and merely only trying to offer assistance.

Fireworld Customer Services are brilliant

Firstly, we looked through a lot of web sites and we chose Fireworld because it ticked all my boxes. We rang their customer services and you could tell that he was very informative about the product. We asked quite a few technical questions and he answered them all very professionally. Therefore, we purchased an expensive gas fire through Fireworld. We have had the gas fire installed within 1 week, with no fuss at all. We would definitely recommend anyone buying from Fireworld.

White/Grey Micro-marble Kinder Oasis HE Living Flame Fireplace.

Excellent choice of products in a spacious showroom. Competitive prices and a good range of well known manufacturers fires on display to choose from. The salesman/owner wasn't pushy in looking for business and allowed us plenty of time to make our choice without any pressure whatsoever. I appreciated the fact that I only had to pay 50% deposit with the balance being paid only when I was completely happy with the quality of the installation. The fitter/gas engineer arrived on time and treated the house as if it was his own. All areas of the room where double sheeted in order to keep any dust under control. The fireplace and balanced flue was expertly fitted within the times originally stated, and it is now the stunning centre piece of our lounge that I feel confident to show off to friends and Family. I would recommend Warm Living at Wigan. JRD.

I rang to ask a question before ordering, the man I spoke to was very rude and dismissive, I have sent two complaint emails and other than the usual confirmation message I have not yet received a satisfactory reply resulting in them losing a sale

We have approached the person directly who wrote this review using the facility provided to us by Trustpilot but the reviewer has failed to provide any information to support their alleged claim that they ever actually spoke to us and if they had then they certainly wouldn’t be spoken to in such a manner as we provide ourselves on exemplary levels of customer service backed up by the good reviews on this profile . Now there are a lot of fireplace companies online with similar trading names to us and a number of which have the exact same trading name who we are not connected to us in anyway. The reviewer shows she has left 4 past reviews to date including one she left on our profile but it also transpires and shows she has left a review, she says mistakenly on another fireplace company’s review profile in error. Proof that errors do occur when leaving reviews on the wrong profiles.

So, this is merely a case of mistaken identity and nothing more were sometimes reviewers in their anger search the internet and post their comments on the first company they come across that matches the name that they think they bought off or spoke to or with a similar sounding name without actually checking and being 100% sure they are leaving their review on the correct profile.

A very trustworthy company with good customer service. Bought a free standing Gas fire at a very reasonable price. I was given good advice on local fitters and a choice of delivery times, would definitely recommend.

Good company customer services/sales team were great

customer services/sales team were very helpful especially when I asked them to put my order on hold because i changed my mind. after letting know early the next day that I wanted to larger more expensive stove the Parkray Rochester 7 kw mulitfuel. Also the delervery man helped me to get the heavy stove of the pallet and into the house . Lit the stove it is fantastic

My second purchase from Fireworld as I was so pleased with the price and service, so I have bought another gas fire from them , customer service is absolutely superb and delivery was, ridiculously quick. shame a lot of other companies cannot follow this example.

The most horrendous online shopping…

The most horrendous online shopping experience in my life. I ordered a fireplace with this company at the end of 2022. After getting an email that any returns (even within a 30 day return period and even if I wanted to return the product myself) will result in a return fee, I called the customer service to confirm that the original product I ordered met my requirements. Because the fireplace was not glass fronted I asked for a replacement to be sent, underlying that I need the product in the same dimensions but glass fronted. After receiving the fireplace, I wasn’t able to install it for about a month so it was sitting in a box for just over 34 days. After unboxing, it turned out that the replacement fireplace had completely different dimensions than the one I had ordered originally even thought the man on the phone reassured me that it wouldn’t be the case. The company refused to accept the return, even though I offered to pay the return fee, called me a liar multiple times when I reiterated the phone conversation, and stopped responding to my emails until I started the legal action against them. Since then they have been more interested in questioning the credibility of the lawyer representing me rather than trying to resolve the matter which could have easily been settled by admitting the fault of the customer service representative and having a decency of accepting a return within a laughable return period of 34 days. By this point I was not only misled by their customer service, but also treated in an abusive way when trying to resolve the matter, and threatened by the police for doing that. I simply discourage everyone from dealing with these people. It’s unfortunately the perfect example how dealing with small local businesses can go wrong if people who lead them don’t give a damn about who they deal with, and care solely about getting rid of stock.

The customer bought a hole in the wall electric fire from us. Their original order they placed online themselves was for an open fronted electric fire but before we dispatched the product they decided to change to a glass fronted hole in the wall electric fire instead. All communications were done in writing via email so we have an accurate account of what the customer required. The 2 electric fires in question are similar with 2 key exceptions one is open fronted and the other glass fronted and both are different sizes. All the sizes/measurements are on our website with technical drawings that show the exact sizes along with statements explaining which is open fronted and which is glass fronted. The information we provide is very clear and concise to enable the consumer to make a fully informed decision. No telephone calls actually ever took place. 34 days after receipt of the goods they contacted us by email to say they had come to fit the fire and whilst it was glass fronted it was a different size and wouldn’t fit and would like to return the goods. The returns period for consumers who wish to request a return of unwanted/unsuitable goods is 14 days from receipt of the goods. So, the request to return the goods was outside the 14 days.

The customer then engaged a law firm who emailed us with her full knowledge. The law firm claimed to be based at the customers home address which seemed odd and their email was not from a business email address but a personal email address. On further investigation the law firm who claimed to represent the customer not only did not exist under the name they gave but the law society registration number shown on their email was for a completely different law firm registered with the (SRA) Solicitors Regulation Authority who had no association with the customers alleged law firm.

Having discovered the alleged law firm acting on behalf of the customer didn’t exist and was passing off as being another law firm and using another companies registration number, we approached the customer and asked whether this law firm was acting on her behalf and she confirmed they were and we have written emailed evidence to prove this. The alleged law firms email to us was full of false statements and inaccuracies which we responded to in detail and we also advised the writer that we were aware of their attempt to deceive and intimidate us which the customer who wrote this review was complicit with.

The law firm the customer claimed was acting on her behalf who made spurious claims, all with her consent, has since been reported to the (SRA) Solicitors Regulation Authority who have in turn posted a SCAM alert on the 3rd March 2023 on their website setting out that the law firm the customers lawyer claimed to represent doesn’t actually exist at all. This was nothing short of an attempt to intimidate us through outright deceit.

We are really shocked that this customer has actually written a review about us in these circumstances given she is a high profile Co-Founder CEO of a company which can be found online by Googling her name and has been complicit in an attempt to deceive us in this a manner. It was bad enough the customer made such false and misleading claims in her emails but to actually be complicit in this way is something we imagined she would want to keep very quiet about. It appears she must be more than happy for us to tell the truth about what actually took place in our dealings with her and her fake law firm.

Fireworld Customer Service Fantastic

Unfortunately, the Carrier damaged a couple of the gas fire items in transit. I contacted Fireworld with supporting photos and they said that they would arrange replacements within 5 working days. True to their word, the replacement items arrived. Fireworld Customer Service have been fantastic. I would strongly recommend using this company.

I had an immediately response to my email, which was dealt with professionally. I had an update email letting me know my delivery was on its way.
