I purchased a set of garden furniture about 2 years ago. It has been used for 2 summers protected in the winter by a cover and it has deteriorated to the point that it is not much use any longer. I am astounded that something that cost me over £1000 has lasted such. Short time period. I own other garden furniture in the rattan style that is in its 5th year and showing no signs of deterioration.i have contacted them twice but don’t respond.

Bought a Firmans Manhattan settee and bistro set. It has been slowly falling to pieces over the last year, the rattan is brittle and has broken in dozens of places all over the seat armrests and the table top. Top price poor quality not UV stable material for outside use , laughable if it wasn't so expensive. Taken it up with the supplier , they and apparently Firmans don't see it as an issue.

Appalling quality and service. Cushion split after a year's use even with careful use. No response for several months to my emails the told I would have to wait a year and pay for replacements. I thought I was paying g for quality and should have go e to a high street store.

Firmans garden furniture. Emailed the company twice now. First email 4th February 2023.
No reply so far.
Bought a gorgeous expensive rattan corner patio set Just over 2 years old and the rattan has split badly on the top of one of the sections. It's also split on the table too which carries no weight.
So disappointed with it. Hopefully the company will get back to me soon.

Thinking of buying that costly Firmans Direct poly-rattan furniture. BE AWARE it’s life span is around 2 years, ours lasted slightly less. By then the poly-rattan under the glass on their tables specifically will spilt and look ugly. This is a design issue and if you really dig into their website and warranty they even mention that extreme changes in temperature (this is outside furniture) will cause the poly-rattan to split! They are not keen to reply to emails and to be honest don’t really care!
